They would first have to issue an RNS with full disclosure of the agreed deal. Within that RNS they could (and probably would) include notice and date of the EGM. I believe they have to give a minimum of 21 days notice, unless 95% of shareholders agree an earlier date. As far as I'm aware these things are usually concluded with few, if any, attendees

As I understand it Wi, we all get a chance to vote - whether we chose to or not. It's a major transaction. They don't get much bigger, as we are selling the entire functioning part of the Bizz, leaving only a theoretical asset. (But hope it's not as Close to Jack and the Beanstalk as it sounds! :) Mind you the only real problem there was the giant! :)

Edit - Sorry just realised your key point is that we don't have to attend!!

(Only earlier i was pondering if there would be a notice about a meet, rather than paper invites/voting forms being issued.)

I suppose we need to get the exchanged contracts notification first but if that happens then isn't it just a form filling job re shareholder approval ie you don't have to attend to vote?

One point forgot to add, if they do issue invites for a general meet for a few weeks down the road, then that will have to happen very soon....and that means there might actually be a lot of clarity sooner than we think?

For all those who have had patience over the years it is increasingly looking like we shall all be finally rewarded. I am staying invested here as the risk/reward continue to look encouraging to claw back losses and secure fair return.
