Yeah lendmefiver - think once they listed we will be able to transfer. But beforehand, it seems we cannot - bit stupid tbh when you think they are your shares but cannot do anything with them
until listed.

I have chosen to have shares in all three entities to spread my risk. These are/will be in a Halifax share dealing account. Halifax have said they cannot trade any of them when they are listed so will have to be moved elsewhere to deal. Of course, it is possible, though unlikely, that any of the three limited companies could be bought before they list. Or Xtierra could be bought out and there is a financial distribution to Buchans shareholders or even shares in the acquiring company. Stranger things have happened. NIA and GLA

Maybe just wait until the eventual listing djb3, do it then, it’s going to be summer 2021 isn’t it realistically I guess with covid etc.

Hi Kiwi - no they are still in my Halifax nominee account. AJ Bell offer access to Canadian markets but as they not listed I cannot move them over. I've thought about contacting computershare, but I'm not sure how exactly to ask for them to be transferred over.

BuchansResLtdWTS31Dec20 will be the exchangeable warrants which will give you 0.25 Buchans shares for every share owned IF actioned (you'll receive 1x minco exploration share at the end of the year if you do nothing).

did you ever get to resolve the transfer + get these lodge in a uk broker ?


i am stuck with Buchan Computersahre in canada - who will not transfer to computershare Uk or to my broker..[ ie unlisted and not therefore in CREST]

ditto canadian manganese [ the other demerger in specie ] Out of interest does anyone know the CM demerger $ value [ for of holding purposes ? ]

also do not have a broker in canada... for when these MAY list, if ever

the holding of inaccessible stock + with Minco + canadian manganese also - i am struggling to find a place in the uk to hold these

what has everyone else done may i ask..

Maybe things are going to happen.I had a full head of dark brown hair when i first got involved. Not any more. My account shows three companies. (1) BuchansResLtdWTS31Dec20. (2)Buchans Resources NPV. and (3)Canadian Manganese Co Inc NPV. (1) and (3) are shown at zero value. (2) Buchans Resources are shown at 30 cent per share but are not tradable. Could anyone explain in plain English where Minco come in all this. Do we have to give up 1,2 or 3 to acquire Minco

From MN.V (Manganese X) web page on Yahoo:

"USA won‘t buy supplies from china in near future. And Tesla will add manganese in the new batteries, that‘s why i am bullish. I think some insiders know more than we... Extreme bullish!!!"



MN.V has doubled in price in the last week. Have a feeling that our Canadian Manganese will just be sold rather than getting a listing. They haven't done any initial placing to my knowledge. It's encouraging news!

Buchans querterly (thanks for the link): The market value of the Company’s Xtierra shares at June 30, 2020 was $2,100,000 based on the market price of Xtierra shares on the TSX Venture Exchange.

30June Xtierra close 7c
recent few days range 16-18c

Nice uptick in the value of Buchans Xtierra stake

30m x 17c = C$5.1m
13m x (17-5c) = C$1.5
clearly Buchans couldn't sell their stake on the market for this price but via a merger/takeover they could.

Buchans owns 30 Million Shares I think. They also have 13 Million warrants at $0.05CAD.
