I think we might get a good valuation for our shares as resources stocks are flying.

I see xtierra is trading at 16cent now, it's been a long time since I saw it anywhere near that valuation.

I now am even more annoyed that shareholders in Dalradian were cashed out. I had wished to retain the shares for the long term. I note that the price of gold now is getting close to double the price it was when we were cashed out.

I am still out of pocket with Minco overall so fingers crossed for one or more listings in the next year or two. At least my grandchildren might benefit....

I have opted for shares in all three of the companies to spread my risk, which is a personal choice and not investment advice of any sort. DYOR etc and GLA

See if you can get the broker to send them into your computer share account in DRS

Thanks ardtole but am in these for the long haul. I had just been looking at Computershare as I have other Canandian manganese with them from another broker on their Direct registration system. I will see if I can get the shares in question transferred.

I’d take Minco as they have a partner in Boliden and next to Glencore in Ireland

We have about 20% of XAG think thats about $4m.

Can see XAG being 25c on this silver move. Still holds substantial silver assets.

That would value Buchans XAG at c$8m.

If we ain’t going to list I wouldn’t mind seeing that holding distributed to shareholders.

Xtierra seems to be having a makeover as a mining royalty holder. Its shares have doubled over the past few months to 12.5Cc. Incidentally Lloyds (Halifax) have asked me to convert my warrants by 12/8 or accept Minco as the backstop. Interactive Investor have credited my account with the actual Buchans and Minco shares, after an earlier invitation to convert. On the new companies being listed I cannot trade any of them with Lloyds though they will hold them. I think I will be able to trade them all with Interactive Investor so I may transfer the Lloyds shares to II after the warrants are tidied up.

I see Xtierra raising some money. Is it for something worthwhile or is it throwing good money after bad.

That was my take bageo, perhaps Buchans has shorter term potential takeover potential also, Minco more speculative perhaps.

Would just like to see them listed, will have been worth the wait.

My take was that Canadian (mostly ex Buchans) shareholders might not want to hold Irish listed shares and would prefer TSX or CNE listed shares hence the choice. Former Minco shareholders would probably happy with the local listing and assets.

That was my understanding as well Fiachra, if you dont do anything you will automatically receive the new minco shares.

Frost1. I think we have some months yet but if you do nothing i think you will be given the Minco shares. I stand to be corrected(if I am wrong.)

I have no idea.one inference is that the consider Minco more valuable as they wish to give out as little shares as possible. M
On the other hand
They have spent a lot of our nineteen million dollars On the Buchan’s assets.
Your further views would be appreciated
Thanks for those already given.

hi fiachra,

will people choose Buchans or Minco.....good question.

MIO is a tiddler but with a good management teams with a decent track record of adding value, especially discovering and selling Pallas Green and with the Curraghinalt NSR sold to Dalradian.

If you like lead and zinc long term I think that's a good bet.

Buchans has substantial copper/gold assets but lots of legacy workings and infrastructure. It depends what it would take to bring those back into production.

MIO's main value is those JV's with Boliden. I don't think a 3.5m € mcap is steep given those partnerships and that track record.

For a bit of diversification - i like MIO.

as to why they gave us the choice....no idea. Do you?

I think that’s roughly the implied values fiachra. The manganese something inbetween I guess

GB904150. Do you think most people will chose to convert the warrants to Minco rather than one fourth the number of Buchans shares? Are Buchans potentially four times more valuable ie worth more than than 20 cent? Why do you think we were given the choice? TIA

Thanks Bodgit for sharing the MIO annual report.

It shows that Buchans holds 60m warrants for distribution as ord shares.

There was an issue of 10m shares at 0.05 € to raise 500k €.

Based on that calculation it would give 70m shares in total at 0.05 € giving an mcap to Minco of 3.5m €.

Or will the valuation all depend what mix of warrants people choose?
