Bah This happens too often. (I held a lot of Arrow Global before it was taken out too) The takeover is at a great premium to a grossly undervalued share price, but at around half my medium term (5 year) full recovery valuation. Ah well, I'll take the money, and reinvest in one of the many other companies now similarly offering doubling potential in that timescale!

I'm almost with smurfy2001! Whlist some of us including myself said many times that MCRO could be subject to a bid, this is going on the cheap & before holders will reap any true benefit of the turnarond plan, deal with AWS etc. I'll exit with a really healthy profit & thank goodness I had a spread bet open also, BUT MCRO's board have uiltimately failed and Open Text will stand to benefit in the long term, not those of us who stood by the business for years!

Very mixed feelings, but all in all, relief as it was getting painful to watch.!

I bought at average price of £3.22, so looking at a decent profit.

Feel a bit for those who bought a lot higher up.

Wow! Well done holders! There'll be plenty of shorters out there who will be feeling shocked and bruised but that's the risk you take in following trends. I think there are other companies out there where the market has also been over-negative and where bids could happen, SYNT being my pick.
