04/2/2021 16:13 | I once watched the famous chicken race on the Isles of Scilly, its not for gambling but perhaps about as predictable as cryptocurrencies, and a lot more fun to watch. ETFs and other collectives are available if you believe in the overall trend though. Maybe too much to read without knowing that it would do any good having read it @cromw3ll Rather him than me : citywire.co.uk/inves More institutional and central bank support might do it eventually. Or the ability to buy my groceries and petrol with a common cryptocurrency transfer at the till from my cryptocurrency current account, regularly topped up by my cryptocurrency employment wages. After all, EUR and USD are *fiat* currencies used across multiple jurisdictions. An Etherium-based house mortgage anyone? Meanwhile, back at Micro Focus .. | ![]() cordwainer
04/2/2021 15:44 | Purchaseatthetop: Many moons ago I used to go to the dogs at Halesowen every Boxing Day. Never won anything. Think I will stick to ''educated gambling'' and stay long on Microfocus! | ![]() boozey

04/2/2021 15:06 | Guys all shares are gambling, but i thought similar when Bitcoin was $8000, there is a sea of change coming, funds and huge wealth will be moving more into it. Bitcoin will be new Gold. Take a look, please don't dismiss it. Lots of good reading material out there. | ![]() cromw3ll
04/2/2021 15:02 | thanks gerardp that seems more trustworthy and up to date. not sure why i thought it was relevant anyway. | ![]() cordwainer
04/2/2021 15:01 | crypto lol....hmmmm, will be heavily regulated soon, what was seen as a bit of a distraction will now be looked at VERY hard, but best of luck | ![]() martinfrench

04/2/2021 14:28 | crikey was this really below 400p a few days ago?! | ![]() scepticalinvestor
04/2/2021 13:55 | Once that is done, it would only be a matter of time before MCRO is taken out imo | ![]() scepticalinvestor
04/2/2021 13:53 | 100% agree.The debt needs to be reduced as quickly as possible. | ![]() scepticalinvestor
04/2/2021 13:49 | Yes, I agree a divi would be nice. Mcro was always a great dividend player. Almost more like a high interest bond increasing with all the acquisitions over the years. But I would prefer a change of tact and to build the business organically and to pay down debt and to grow and innovate. Now with Loosemore gone there is a greater chance of this happening. All this nonsense about income funds being attracted by the divi is just that. What any investor wants is a bright future of cash generation. That is equally as distributive as a dividend. | ![]() rochdae
04/2/2021 12:56 | the dividend is easily reinstated, prob is the level....10p would be ideal and kind of in line with tech type payouts, and cost very little | ![]() martinfrench
04/2/2021 12:32 | OK I'll take educated gambling.. Anyway, looks like building nicely to results. What are the odds on the divi being reinstated. I'll go 2-1 ..! Think the revenue decline might surprise. Anything less than 5% for 2021 would be a great result. | ![]() rochdae
04/2/2021 10:47 | that might apply to an early stage business planit but doesnt have relevance to an up and running company like mcro, unless the investment via physical holding allows for new investment via a higher share price which brings fwd new opportunities via say a rights issue or share price strength allows for a more stable company which gives better debt terms / ratings etc also find the gambling debate above a little bit redundant, it has elements of gambling and investment, so is a non debate really. its educated gambling. | ![]() martinfrench |
