01/5/2012 10:01 | I think a break and hold over 12.5p would be very significant here. | ducatiman
01/5/2012 09:51 | RNS Number : 2785C Metal-Tech Ltd 1 May 2012 1 May 2012 Metal-Tech Ltd. ("Metal-Tech" or "the Company") Movement in share price Pomp Circumstance acknowledges the recent rise in the share price of the Company. He can confirm that it is unaware of any reason for such movements and consequently does not believe there is a need to make an announcement in relation to this rise. | pomp circumstance

01/5/2012 09:41 | not sure about news leaking. more likely positioning before next set of news ? Illiquid stock so relatively small lots of buys can send this rocketing | mister md
01/5/2012 09:29 | tis is gonna blow again by the looks of it....gotta be news leaking | doodle1
01/5/2012 09:05 | 12.2% now...some stakebuilding continuing? | mister md
01/5/2012 09:00 | up 7.3%, steady or there will be another rns, lol. | ducatiman
30/4/2012 13:10 | tick-up...is it getting ready to roll again? | doodle1
30/4/2012 09:03 | I have the Uzbek claim down as $7m (which coincidentally is about £4.3m?). The guideline is Newmont Mining who won a claim of $80m against the Uzbek government for a similar appropriation dispute. | luckyjonah
29/4/2012 21:31 | have had a good look at these over the weekend, accounts are a bit confusing to me but with a mkt cap of £4m and a claim of £2m against the uzbeks I think they are worth a punt. That rns on friday came out seriously quickly after the rise so don`t think it was LSE induced, in which case the co` were obviously monitoring share price movement very closely. Don`t want to chase but if they retrace think I will grab a small parcel. | ducatiman
28/4/2012 13:14 | cos, chance of success. cheers will have a look at pur. My tip is fep, lets see where the sp`s are on your return. | ducatiman
28/4/2012 12:04 | Cheers battlebus. Fingers crossed for a BIG one. | mudbath
28/4/2012 11:08 | Yes Mudbath enjoy yourself last time you went on hols WSI was taken over :)) | battlebus2
28/4/2012 10:35 | Hi ducatiman.COS ?,please enlarge. MTT claim is only around US$4.3million,I believe. Although an adjudication favouring MTT would be beneficial,I do feel that CEO Aik Rosenberg is frying bigger fish currently for it does look to me as though the future ownership of Meta Tech is up for grabs. This may potentially result in some wild gyrations in the share price over the weeks ahead. Whilst not wishing to deflect any potential investor in MTT,my top preference for further investment would most definitely directed towards Pure Wafer(PUR). Mud. | mudbath
28/4/2012 09:58 | BON VACANCES mudbath. Doing some research here currently. Before you go can you tell me the amount they are claiming from the Uzbeks? What do you consider the COS to be. Tia, duc. | ducatiman
28/4/2012 09:54 | battlebus, As I said, before the recent rise,it does look as though MTT are destined to move upwards. This was underscored when the MMs' took those 60K from me last week without flinching, particular Off to Majorca for two weeks later today,so hope these are above 20 when I get back! | mudbath
27/4/2012 18:32 | Not that i've seen Mudbath. Very positive that we have still finished higher given the update imv. | battlebus2
27/4/2012 17:33 | Do we have "herds" here at MTT ? Not that I know of. | mudbath
27/4/2012 17:15 | Loverat Yes sure you are right. Lots and lots of small buys built up a momentum. Mainly PIs. This is that type of stock relying either on gossip or rumour as much as an RNS. Lots of hyping can work with some small caps like this. Doesn't make it any less of a buy though. mudbath your 12p sounds like a sensible move to me. | greek islander
27/4/2012 17:06 | Personally I think it was just the herd effect. Someone decided to buy 50k - another followed thinking the trade was of significance. Then another and I suspect then news of these trades would have been posted on a trading thread. Rumours of settlement followed and then more trades. Bobs your uncle. I think MTT and OXS will experience these spikes now and again until there is some news of the arbitration. Still - one positive is that it brings stocks like this to a wider audience. | loverat
27/4/2012 17:03 | From RNS..."and consequently does not believe there is a need to make an announcement in relation to this rise." Why bother then? :D | petty officer birdseye
27/4/2012 17:02 | luckyjonah. My view is that Aik Rosenberg has had enough of MTT and that he is accordingly looking for the best possible exit strategy. We know that the TNPV involvement is held in abeyance because of Metal Tech's other suitors. There is also the South American corporation that could absorb MTT for its small change purely to obtain full control of their recently concluded successful J/V.Just to underpin the potential price we have the exceedingly substantial hidden balance sheet reserves. I always hoped for somewhere between 17-26pence and see no reason why we will not achieve this, eventually. Mud. | mudbath
27/4/2012 17:02 | Interesting action here today! MTT are always quick to play down any rise. Same thing happened in early 2010, ultimately the share price went on to spike to 27p. I'm holding for a wee while yet :) especially with news on the arbitration due! | petty officer birdseye |
