Metal-Tech Ltd
Update on prospective investment in the Company
RNS Number : 1872Z
Metal-Tech Ltd
12 March 2012

12 March 2011

Metal-Tech Ltd.
("Metal-Tech" or "the Company")

Update on prospective investment in the Company

Metal-Tech, the producer and recycler of speciality metals such as Tungsten and Molybdenum, provides the following update on talks with Technoplus Ventures Ltd. ("Technoplus"), an Israeli investment company listed on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange, following the announcement on 4 October 2011 regarding the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the potential investment from Technoplus to Metal-Tech.

The Board would like to advise that the MOU with Technoplus and the "no-shop" period pursuant thereto, during which the Company and anyone acting on its behalf refrained from negotiating with third parties any transaction, which involves issuance of shares and/or options in the Company's equity, have expired.

Metal-Tech received a letter from Technoplus on 11 March, which included an allegation with respect to the Company's and other third parties liability for breach of the MOU. The Company strongly rejects any allegation that it has breached any of the conditions of the MOU and will rigorously defend itself against any such claims.

Metal-Tech continues to hold discussions with other potential investors and will inform the market of any further developments as required. The Board maintains that any future fundraising will be utilised to support the growth of the Company, both through investments in the Company's production facilities, and facilitating working capital as required.

I'm getting nervous! I have two tranches which are still underwater and I know that I should average down...but I'm utterly convinced that if I do this rise will stall, go into reverse and I'll be left with yet another tranche thats down...

I've watched the rises over the past week and thought, "jump in now Soggy, go on, you can do it....no, wait, maybe it'll crash...yes, I'll wait, such huge rises will get sold into, nobody can resist a 50% profit in a day..." and blow me, but it just keeps going up!

You'll know when this rally has peaked...it will be 2 nanoseconds after I top up!

battlebus, when they were originally posted I was laughed out of court for being so bullish.
They probably crop up amongst my general musings of a few months ago.
I was surveying my holdings and the portfolios of family etc just a month ago and there was nothing but crumbled MTT shares as far as the eye could see.
Their current stellar rise then is of particular significance to the now resurgent mudbath millions!
Fingers crossed for a more than satisfactory outcome.

Encouraging start to the trading week for MTT holders.
IMO an opportunity, via the market,to sell at around 17pence should soon arrive.
Those who exit in that region may well look on as the MTT share price continues to rise thereafter.
Wish that I never deleted my ten bull points for this company from the header,as they remain very much in play.

my average is 22, but my dilemma will be when the lower tranche gets into profit (16p) should I just bail out or, as the accepted wisdom dictates, ride my winner.

Having held on here, and being curious to see what is really causing this rise, I suspect that I'll just hold for the long term.

Certainly, losing the two plants was a huge blow to the prospects of the co. but it looks like there's a future here, perhaps more steady growth than the former "is moly the way to big lolly" expectation.

Whether others are as sanguine about holding on longer is the big question. I suspect that many will bail if they break even...and possibly a good few will have already.

More than just soggy shoes - I'll hang on but at an average of 20p I'll cling on to the gunwhales for a while in hope/expectation of a liferaft.

I'm astonished that the price has stayed up - with a rise such as we've had over the past few days I would have thought that anyone who was in profit would have cashed in their chips.

Maybe most folk are in the same boat as me - still underwater! (a felicitous mixed metaphor there...)

i think mms were filling that order hence the share price was stagnant until close of play after the trade was placed. It means well for tomorrow in my view.

Nice work 7bore.
A 100% gain every 4 weeks,if reinvested, turns £1,000 into £1BILLION in just 19 months !
That was a tasty after hours deal today ,namely a 100,000 buy @ 12.38pence.
Up or down, tomorrow should be absorbing.

I sold my MTT today as i believe the arbitration award of $7.6m to $8m max.(£4.8m to £5.07m) = 11.98p - 13.21p/share is now mostly factored into the price.

I realise there are other strings to the MTT bow but a near 250% profit in the past week is more than enough for me.

Good luck all.
