17/2/2012 08:54 | Forgot to add that the price of Tungsten has held up well over the last few months, which gives me further confidence that the positive improvement at the Interim results would continue. Commenting on the results, Aik Rosenberg, Executive Chairman and CEO of the Company, said: "We are pleased to report a period of continued progress in the first half of 2011. Strong demand for Tungsten led to sales of the metal at higher prices compared with the same period last year. The Company also remained committed to tightly managing its costs and finance whilst driving the business forward by increasing its recycling and production activities." We shall see. | bill182
17/2/2012 08:42 | Good morning Guys. I haven't posted here in a while, as I took the pain on my investment a few months ago and only retained a nominal amount. However, an update is due any-time regarding the investment from Technoplus Ventures Ltd, as well as a year end trading update. The fact that there has not been an announcement before now, gives me some cautious optimism that the shareholders will not be shafted. Given that the market cap of the company is only £1.24m v NA's of £5m, I have dipped my toe back in the murky water over the last couple of days. Let's see if my antenna is working, and we see an RNS in the next couple of weeks. Good luck to all long-term holders. | bill182
15/2/2012 10:18 | Cant help you on that one poombear. I have scanned all likely sources for an outcome,to no avail. No doubt AR will update us in due course. | mudbath
13/2/2012 11:31 | "The Tribunal holds a hearing on jurisdiction and merits in Washington" Doe's that mean the case has happened and we are waiting for a decision, or is this just another stage before the actual trial? Assuming (hoping) the first, any idea how long it take before we get a judgement? | poombear
08/2/2012 11:09 | Hello firth. My broker has been quoting MTT @ 3.85 / 4.15 pence for what seems like weeks now;meaning that,as with your purchase, buys showed as sells. Yesterday the spread was moved upwards by 0.3pence. A good entry point for you. Plenty of risk involved;yet with a fair wind(TNPV invest)you could achieve a 50% gain over coming weeks. Mud. | mudbath
08/2/2012 09:39 | Hi Mudbath, Just to let you know I have picked up a a couple of £k worth. 4.35p. | firth
07/2/2012 18:38 | Possibly any ruling from the late January 2012 hearing is currently reserved then poombear. Looks as though MTT might be about to make an announcement, having regard to the fact that one can still sell in size and in view of the further price uptick. Certainly one is now overdue. | mudbath

04/2/2012 10:13 | I see that Technoplus exited another of their investments last month;the second similar transaction since signing the MOU with MTT.The TNPV share price is moving up as well. Jan 5th 2012 "Riverbed Technology, Inc. (NasdaqGS: RVBD) acquired Expand Networks, Inc. from TechnoPlus Ventures Ltd"(and others). (Expand Networks:- Foundation WAN Optimization VDI & Virtualization Server Based Computing Branch Office Server Consolidation) Looking at TNPV investments,I would observe that MTT is way out of their comfort zone.My gut feeling is that TNPV are acting as transient intermediaries for a Chinese or South American corporate wishing to acquire MTT's technologies. Risky, yet imo,an interesting punt if buying in at around 4.5pence. Any views ? | mudbath

23/1/2012 10:04 | An update on the MOU between MTT and TNPV is due by February 5th 2012 . Whilst there has been a deathly silence from MTT,at least the share price has edged up slightly and it is possible to sell in the market currently. | mudbath

19/12/2011 17:06 | The announcement on Oct4th incorporated the following statement of intent from TNPV, "Subject to closing, Technoplus will be given the rights to appoint representatives to the Board of Directors of the Company, and shall be involved in the management of the Company's business operations." Should TNPV invest, then MTT Board resignations would be required to make way for TNPV nominations.Could be that recent resignations reflect the need for such a scenario. | lovaine
19/12/2011 16:37 | No idea, but there does appear to a regular flow of directors leaving for personal reasons | steve36
19/12/2011 15:42 | Whats this mean in terms of delisting! 19 December 2011 19 December 2011 Metal-Tech Ltd ("Metal-Tech" or "the Company") Directorate Change Metal-Tech, the producer and recycler of speciality metals such as Tungsten and Molybdenum, announces that Mr. David Gilboa has resigned from his position as a Statutory External Director of the Company for personal reasons with immediate effect. The Company will make an announcement once an appropriate replacement has been appointed. 27/10/2011 10:42 | IMO potential investors are going to kick themselves within a 3 month time scale for not buying MTT stock aggressively at around 5 pence.Depressed trading levels are similar to trading bubbles in that they are difficult to identify until after they have ended or burst. Again IMO,MTT are about to revert to a more appropriate trading range(given known risks)of circa 7 to 8pence. ++++++ My next posting will be,"and up she goes".(trust me!) ++++++ | mudbath |
