Hello everyone.Marchpole treading water. Sat between 20p and 22.5p in old money.Just hope market not waiting for expected bad news on OB case.If judgement which is not too far away rules against MPH and company lumbered high costs then possible share price maybe pushed south but should quickly recover. As general rule do not like share consolidations.Once OB out of the way, move on to post YSL era and have confirmation that loss of YSL replaced 100% by MODA and other deals then Marchpole off to the races.Perhaps market waiting for official confirmatory figures. Interests elsewhere are doing well whilst waiting patiently here.

Hi WBJ,

With regards to my garage I am renting it out to 19 Polish people at present.
A little bit crowded in there but at £5pw each what to they expect!!
I am glad you and Mrs WBJ never took the place now as I think you would have been a bad tenant and tried to exploit me....LOL

On a serious note my city "Southampton" is full of Polish people now. We have the biggest community outside of London and all the young people looking to get part time work at weekends and in the evenings can't. Got to have a knock on effect to us all in the end somehow.

What are the market men waiting for before loading up on this opportunity? At 13p(65p) they waited until the Moda deal was announced then pushed it post 20p (100p), now they wait for concrete figures before pushing it to 35 (175p) and it must be soon imho...................Patiently waiting wbj

Well, the 5 for 1 consolidation certainly seems to have put a dampener on trading.

I think we need more individual figures on the brands in this years Financial Reports to clearly see the breakdown between labels and licences. YSL total revenue for last year was around 26 million pounds, with forward revenue of over 40 million as of July this year I think it says alot about the growth of Moda, JCC and other acquisitions and licences imho. Based on the consolidation last years full EPS figure was 13p so lets see how the Interim figures compare with the full year, hopefully we will be in for a pleasant surprise.......................wbj

Ok, thanks.

Is it fair to say that exposure to American consumer confidence is greater now that the YSL revenue will be supplanted by the Moda acquisition?

I expect these figures in the first two weeks of November, but who knows could be a trading statement before, based on my projections expectations would exceed the brokers forecast my a mile...........................wbj

Hi Wbj et al,

These results you are referring to above, are they the interim results expected in November, or do you think there will be news before that?

By the way what you call consolidation we call false dawns on here don't we WBJ.........LOL

I gather that, but considering it leapt over 100% in the course of a few weeks, it's not unusual for it to need a period of consolidation before setting off again.

chap, I would say you have been in this from March. WBJ and I were talking about people who have been in this one for a bit longer than that.

15% up from the July low and 60% up from my buy price (over 70% for those who caught the bottom). Not heading for the cliffs just yet.

Thanks for injecting some humour here we all need it at present after the last 24 months. I am looking for 40 million revenue and eps of around 12.5p at the interim stage to keep me fully on board, we shall see. Hope all is well with you and yours and you managed to raise some much needed income from renting out your garage.....................lol......wbj

PS I wish I could see what the problem with MPH is in that it seems stuck at this level, perhaps I'm to near the wood to see the trees, time will tell, but a p/e this low "don't get it" must be missing something.

Hi WBJ,

I think your point regarding pension funds etc will not happen in a big way due to Mr Morris holding the kind of stake he has and his control on the company. Consolidation will not sway them IMHO into buying in just because it is no longer a penny share so to speak.

If you do take 25% of your money out of MPH and buy something else then let me know before hand please. Those few million pounds are bound to push the price up by a huge amount.....LOL

Can't understand it myself, perhaps we need the pension funds and institutions to get interested before we move on, that I think was the point of the consolidation because 134 million shares is not an excessive amount imho. Trying times as always but if the results are in line with the 40 million forward orders mentioned and they still don't move I shall consider moving 25% of my holding elsewhere, good luck everyone..........................wbj
