19/9/2006 10:55 | As I tried to compare yesterday the effects of share consolidation between THUS and MPH (before Im corrected yes it was 10:1 and they are two entirely different sectors etc etc) But the initial date did see a drop which I have found typical! Hope my post does not mislead anyone as it is not intended too but highlight the possible cause. | ![]() cr4zyness
19/9/2006 10:52 | Thanks for reply ribton, still no dividend showing on my Selftrade account, but at last the new allocated shares are up and running. I was told that the divi will be in my account by the end of the week! | ![]() llados
19/9/2006 10:45 | typical post-consolidation affect. That is why I ususally don't like it: If not followed by news soon, PI expect too much, get bored, sell in panic, hence price will drip down, even with small trade volume, despite of recent records of good news. s-termer bridgade already waits by screening news for consolidation or moves in causes more damage. Hopefully only a shrt term, the bounce will come strongly if revers in the other direction. Please correct me if U like. | ![]() gb2005

19/9/2006 08:56 | rrogans, Are you saying that since May you have lost 400%? Would I be right in saying that in old money these are now at around 22.5 to buy? | ![]() tuftymatt
19/9/2006 08:07 | The sad thing about the consolidation and near 400% price hike is that yesterday, for a few hours, my portfolio was back to May ... | rrogans
18/9/2006 20:09 | Llodas, sorry for the late reply My Selftrade account has been working fine with MPH all day, strange you've had a problem. | ribton
18/9/2006 15:30 | What we need is an article in the FT "Weekend Share Watch".....that usually does the trick, one way or the other..... Aye, a bit of good PR wouldn't go amiss me thinks.... | ![]() deanroberthunt
18/9/2006 14:32 | wbj...well its certainly sorted out the volatility! not that I ever really noticed it before, seemed pretty stable to me..... | ![]() deanroberthunt
18/9/2006 14:14 | R.Burns I hope some Marchpole holders don't think they've won the lottery this morning as ADVFN shows them up 388%! Afraid it isn't - just a share consolidation - so they are really pretty much unchanged! However the consolidation - 1 for 5 -- should enable more institutions to take an interest and immediately makes the spread. quiet consolidation with no surprises, roll on trading news and results......wbj | ![]() wbjunior
18/9/2006 12:05 | No, 1 for 5. | ![]() dan de lion

18/9/2006 10:49 | Now where did I hear these words "Robbery Fund" before.... | ![]() gb2005
18/9/2006 10:46 | Given MM's somewhat dubious connections with the racing fraternity I suspect more likely they went to the Frankie Dettori Robbery Fund. | ![]() argy2

18/9/2006 10:40 | I here all part shares are added together and given to the "David Beckham retirement Fund" | markycrispy
18/9/2006 10:40 | ok, peace all my friends. Consolidation has started. Accepted. I never like consolidation without accompagnition of more and soon releasing of good news. But nevertheless I would not sell on 15 Sep and buy back this morning. That was my post. So what do you reckon near term? The markdown is in contrast with the trade record. Master RSI, post here mean you are in here? I wouild expect a short term weakness but share price will recover soon to 115p and above, when the dust settles. When or how is the question... | ![]() gb2005
18/9/2006 10:39 | "Fractional entitlements will be aggregated into whole shares and sold in the market and net proceeds of sale will be distributed to shareholders entitled to such fractions. Cheques in respect of the net proceeds of sale are expected to be despatched by 29 September 2006" I was worried about my 68p being stolen! | roughjustice |
