Marben - OT, what's your curernt view of a bit of Knife catching on Accident Exchange?!

I see they was a bit of banter on TMF about them. Seem overly punished for achieving superb rather than stratospheric growth. Note comments re Isurers being tough cookies & potential squeeze, but if this is illusory then surely a good punt?

They will hold short / long positions though. How long or short and over what timescale they look to balance the books is up to them. It was noticible that they took a large amount through January at around 110p without flinching.

Having some knowledge of whats brewing helps them, of course, to keep the necessary balance. I am sure they have made a nice turn on the shaers collected in January...

MMs in a small stock like this don't usually hold much. That's why the share price is so volatile. They certainly won't buy or sell 100K or more unless they know there's a counterparty. If they have to buy or sell in quantity "on risk", they'll only do so at a price well away from the current quote. The "T" trade is generally an order that has sat on the books until there are sufficient buyers or sellers to satisfy it.

For MPH all MMs are only quoting is sizes of 5K or 10K. They are not obliged to buy or sell greater quantities than this.

There's a lot of nonsense talked about MMs. Whilst some share price manipulation does go on, the price is mostly driven by supply and demand. Why do people think the price has risen so fast? It's because there aren't enough sellers to satisfy demand at lower prices. Simple as that.

ok Lex first to £2 buys the cakes too. Like you I have had other shares I would have liked to put money into like cct but thought whats the point if both give projected similar returns, from my point of view diversification is needed so hopefully when mph are overvalued I will spread my risk over perhaps 5
+ companies. Have to get these along way forward imo first

PS I'm not buying real cream cakes unless we hit £3.................lol...wbj

wbj, thanks.Being quite open would have been good idea to take profits out of CCT approx £9k+ and put 'em into MPH before the predicted rise.MPH was always going to head up back to fair value.Did consider it as posted but in the end decided to keep to 2007 strategy.Have both CCT & MPH similar potential target prices & both pay progressive divi.CCT more than likely get bid for so MPH possibly has the edge on continuous % yield.Race you to 200p,whoever gets there first pays for the beers or perhaps a pleasing glass of vino.Always fun chatting with you wbj.MPH has steeper more vertical chart & deservedly so.Cheap cheap cheap.

Taking a breath for a few momments before moving on. I recon that 100k could have been a buy from back before and the mm were suppressing it.................wbj
Reported as 10.06 time transaction

I recon the only sellers are the MM who are obliged to hold sufficient stock to make a market, when they run short the party starts to get into full swing imo

steady buying pressure and no selling todate

AS lex indicated, momentum trading is starting to kick in, which could cause a swift rise towards £2.

Not sure where the first profit takers kick in... most recent buyers on board 130p+. We will find out at 150p / 160p I suppose...
