20/2/2007 16:38 | I beg you pardon! ;o) Its small beer mom, i dont think he is that influential but all grist to the mill. A good day all round. Foz. | ![]() fozzie
20/2/2007 16:35 | Rubbish! It moved it this AM and this PM. He does seem to be a bit of a cult. But as a holder I have no complaints, useful for him that he gets to buy sell then notify others!! | momentos
20/2/2007 16:34 | mom, definetley a sheep effect but not important enough to move the share price significantly imo. I have been reading Robbie for a good few years and although i dont get the emails because i have a company provided broadband server, i have found him to be extremely useful and informative. I got his book as well and its a good read. He does get a little bit of bad press from time to time but imo that is undeserved. He called this one right and was influential in helping me decide to grin and bear the pain, glad i held on! | ![]() fozzie
20/2/2007 16:33 | Timber..... Looks like 140p / old 28p may not provide much resistance then! Roll on 150p then ,see what kind of a test that provides... | momentos
20/2/2007 16:28 | Not far off 140p-143p. | ![]() lex1000
20/2/2007 16:26 | Fozzie, explains the 11am / 2pm blips - his inner and outer circles receive things at different times and therefore do their sheep act separately. Not complaining though, but will remember to sell at 159p, rebuy at 150p on the way to £2! | momentos
20/2/2007 16:24 | For the record: "The very near future" = 91 Days (15 Nov 2006 - 14 Feb 2007) Cant remember the run time for "imminent"... | momentos
20/2/2007 16:23 | I note that Robbie Burns aka frequenttrader has bought a further 4500 shares at 134p today. He has targeted 160p and says management seem to be winning respect in the city, i hope he is right, he usually is! For my part i am utterly delighted at this rise and hope it can continue to fair value. | ![]() fozzie

20/2/2007 16:16 | wow ,whats being going on here. I pop out for the day and whoosh. Bloody tea bags this morning. I am really chuffed for all the long termers here. Stalwarts through and through. I feel we are finally witnessing the breakout that M morris has expected and worked for in the last 18 months. Good bye YSL hello a rejuvinated MPH. the sentiment has changed | jason8466
20/2/2007 16:12 | BTW Hardman did comment in their Feb Update also: We have been waiting for Marchpole to announce an acquisition that will fill the gap left by YSL and the company has now done so, announcing a conditional agreement to acquire Greenmark Limited, a Hertfordshire based designer, wholesaler and distributor of ladies footwear. Greenmark made a profit of £3.2m on turnover of £24.1m in the year to 31 December 2005. With total consideration due of £3.0m payable - £1.0m in cash, £1.0m in unsecured bank guaranteed loan notes, and a £1.0m unsecured convertible loan the deal appears to have been done on attractive terms. Approval of the deal by Marchpole's shareholders is to be sought at an EGM in early March. We view this as a positive move for Marchpole,in that the acquisition of Greenmark should more than fill the gap left by YSL. | momentos

20/2/2007 15:34 | Mid on 139p.Interesting to see whether (my previously posted)theory holds that should see momentum buying as as trades above 137.5p confirm true breakout.MPH has everything going for it.Impartial/unbiase The answer I guess to investment club is still time to re-consider hopping on board MPH.Nothing really to hold MPH back this side of 150p.imho. | ![]() lex1000
