Marchpole Holdings is one of those companies that looks to be heavily undervalued due to it's intrinsic figures.

Last week I suggested to my co-investors within our investment club to invest in Marchpole. This was at 116p I think. My suggestion was based on it's figures, suggesting a price of 341p was a fair one, and the fact that the growth is fast due to acquisitions. A day later, literally, it increased in price by approx. 13%. How I regretted the fact that they rejected my proposal.

Anyway, if you hold this stock, don't let go. In my mind it still has a very long way to go and I would suggest you're looking at about 250p by the end of 2007, imho.

It's P/E suggests it is heavily under priced compared to others within the industry, high ROCE indicates good management, EPS growth has averaged 70% in the last 3 years, dividend yield of around 3.5% and next year's forecast EPS would indicate that 340p is not so far fetched. Hold on, it's only going to get better........................Food for thought..........wbj

Apart from morris is 18.98% (27.2m in issue) and Man movement down on 16th.

Looks like all pi buys to me, the big boys are sitting in the wings with big orders and the mm are frantic to get us to sell, and fill the orders, bring it on..............wbj even

momentos,yes you could be proved right better looking @ 140p and 150p as resistances.I'm probably being overly bullish seeing strong fundementals, positive sentiment and speedier return to fair value.Either way beleive mms will try shaking out more sellers on way up @ 140p & 150p.In theory momentum buying should kick in at these levels i.e 27.5p old money.Hoping OB will prove a damp squid.MPH got some good Brands to replace YSL,international & global growth.imho.

I believe the market is assured about future earnings post ysl and with the acquisition strategy and home grown labels they wany to get on board big time before pi catch up, hence the price movement. I hope i'm right but never can be to sure with the markets. Only reservation now is Boateng settlement and take up of Ungaro homme..........................enjoying today.........wbj

140p is probably a resistance, we stuck there for a while late 2004 / early 2005 on the way down!

wbj,if market follows past trends could see MPH move quickly to 140p-143p possible go little higher,pullback to shake out a few more holders low 140s.Same process repeated at 150p et seq. When aquisition done deal,market accepts MPH diversified to 100% replace YSL then have a share price of 185p+,plus other add ons and potential which see forcast of 200p+.All reasons why Funds have been adding and accumulating.Two years holders waiting now paying dividends.

wbj,MPH chart flying, resuming near vertical flight path harrier jet style.Enjoying what holders are seeing.Did consider top slicing taking profits out of my o/t at higher highs the other day to put inot MPH.Didn't.My o/t pullbacked today and MPH doing the biz and may overtake.lol.

As I see it MPH heading back to fair value 185p with only pausing points @ 140p, 150p & 160p. MPH looks a safe bet imho.

momentos,technicals and chart remain positive.Looking very strong here,best in ages & ages.Great news on acquisition.Exciting.Your use of historical chart post 476, is particularly apt.MPH about to confirm moves onto it i.e hop over path 135p-185p.Marchpole look cheap & strong hold to me.aimvho.dyor.
