Is the Boateng issue the main concern to have affected the price this much?

ASOS put out good figures today and the price has tailed off.

As I said the other week when Momentos was asking for new header names, sometimes "No News Is good News."


WBJ, Have put the rent up for the Polish people living in my garage to £30 per person per week. That gives me a weekly return of £750. I got away with the price rise after telling them its either pay up or share with some middle eastern back packers.....LOL

Disappointed to read holders unlikely to see trading update this month.Nice to see something for number crunchers on here to get teeth into.Marchpole must have their reasons.For holders business as usual "patience"and don't give up the day job.On the plus side divi paid out and received by holders three weeks ago.Lucky put some loose change in ARG.Ironically for me PKW on current bid of 126p & waiting on CCT to play catch up.Nice when dice rolls in your favour. Out of oilies and metals proving good & lucky decision.Both sectors very volatile,oil $70 > $50. In comparison with oil & metals which have lost value MPH better hold without volatility & paper losses. Consolidation,consolidation,consolidation.

I have no reason to think that jamesjoel would be making things up in his post today so therefore feel that yet again MPH are being selective in what they report.

The Jan trading update in 2005 was very upbeat and had the shares back into the 30's if I remember right.

Hi Tufty, hope you had a good festive season and that you are still feeding the lodgers in your garage, I understand around 30 million new arrivals are planned so what with supply and demand what it is you can increase the rent..lol

Just waiting as usual for either a trading statement or acquisition news to move along.

I seem to recognise the symptoms of alcohol induced insomnia. Perfectly acceptable behaviour, it is a problem I experience myself from time to time.

Please give the Absinth a swerve though, it may bring on a burst of Gallic philosophy or even a JCC "Hotel Kitty" moment.
