Done the same wih PKW upped bid by 1p after someone sold 1k on PLUS.Another one for the patient.MPH good experience art of patience....and sainthood.lol! In the New year means any time up to 31 December 2007...!

"In the very near future" (at least 7 weeks)and "imminent" (6 months) are relative terms. Compared to the time it would take for the average Pole to march around the world they are short.

Rathbones Unit trust activities....



Last notice I had of their holding was 5.2% (they stopped breaking out individual holdings after , but commentary does not indicate a reduction.



"During November, we added to 1-2-1 Media and Marchpole....."

The 3% notification of interest rule does not apply to unit trusts so it is difficult to see holdings or movement in holdings.

I hadn't previously picked up on that 17% gross margin growth in the US. Pretty good one would say!!

As ever we await the acquisition "in the very near future" [comment 15 November, 7 weeks and counting] but as we know "imminent" means 6 months so dont break out the champers yet....

The note (28 Nov) said:

"Negotiations are underway on a potential acquisition which is expected to be completed in the New Year."

So perhaps a while to go yet, after all there are 12 months in a year.
