21/12/2006 16:52 | Well if it's going to go down then let it keep going and give us a great price to top up at, silly price for a company making the profits that MPH are. | dcd
21/12/2006 15:04 | Had hoped that we'd said goodbye to sub 110s - alas no. | ![]() spaceparallax
21/12/2006 14:37 | Looks like it Dan, thought we might have had an announcement before Christmas regarding the acquisition or new licence agreements according to a source of mine who's information has been spot on todate. Have a good Christmas Dan and new year............wbj | ![]() wbjunior

21/12/2006 08:43 | Good morning.Ashame about OB legal thing.Boston legal without the laughs.Watching JKX mentioned here 267p/269p improving 274p/279p.Got no money in it therefore no self interest-would do if had any loose change. One of my favs as you know sold higher & imo time to hop back on board. edit:o/t CCT first to post 125p mid price.Posted personal hot stock.Much more to come methinks.MPH slow boat to China.Thorn in side pain in neck OB will at some point pass into history and post YSL Marchpole given the opportunity to prove growth, revenues and profits to justify re-rating with higher share price Though not currently a holder do sincerely hope to see better times here and return +ve sentiment.Hopefully cheery news next trading update.Sincere thanks putting up with ramblings and reading some of money making ideas.Warmest seasons greetings to everyone. | ![]() lex1000
20/12/2006 21:59 | Good luck Crazy. Dont study the charts too much. If you study the Marchpole chart too long you will see Robin, with batman to his right (turned sideways) giving someone the finger. All down to interpretation. | momentos
20/12/2006 20:42 | Good luck everyone on here, I sold out at £1.11 on Monday hope it all works out for the patient ones. That last RNS was the last straw for me just not cut out for being a MPH holder, for one I dont have a legal degree. I like to concentrate on the charts and not on a battle of pride! Take care and maybe hear from a few of you on other bb's. Regards Crazy | ![]() cr4zyness
20/12/2006 19:35 | WBJ I think Naked Trader is being a tad less than honest. In effect he is realising a good profit and there is nothing wrong with that. He is selling well below his given share price target with NO reasons why that target can not be achieved. Boredom IMHO does not apply to his mantra as he is taking a near 50% profit. Well done the Naked Trader. | 0o0
20/12/2006 18:34 | tried to sell today 1000 shares through TDW, no takers | andyok3
20/12/2006 16:06 | MArben, the 2005 Judgement is also linked in the header if you want to read it. Must admit the latest one is a bit clearer in settign out what they have been arguing about, even though it is still heavy going. www.bailii.org is a useful source for getting the truth on a court case! "charms" is one way of describing the joys of ADVFN! | momentos
20/12/2006 16:01 | Naked trader One profit take - I've sold a few Marchpole at 110 on the basis that they are boring me silly - I know this isn't a great reason for selling but I've been sitting on decent profits on these for ages. I'm still holding onto some. Another sell based on boredom, good luck to anyone making a profit, but I'm holding out for alot more......wbj | ![]() wbjunior
20/12/2006 15:55 | Thanks for posting that judgement and for your earlier kind words momentos. Fascinating read - I've never seen one of those before. The ruling seems pretty unequivocal. Having finally succumbed to ADVFN's charms, I am now monitoring a number of threads on companies I'm interested in. Let's hope Michael Morris remains fit, healthy & interested. Marchpole is not worth a lot without him, with him, however, it really seems to be making great strides. Compliments of the season to all. Regards, Mark | marben100
20/12/2006 15:35 | Indeed, but I have a suspicion Boateng may have grounds to sue his solicitors, not clear whether it was them that screwed up.... | momentos
20/12/2006 14:52 | looks like the main winners are the solicitors, as usual | ![]() cosnova
20/12/2006 14:24 | Positive for Marchpole. Not sure how the law stands, appearsw the judge said to Boateng "Deal Over" in December 2005. He breached subsequent to that judgement, but is he obliged to continue with the deal whilst Marchpole appeal? Hope Marchpole's legal advice is good..... Reading through it seems a bit better than it was before. It also seems to suggest to me that alot of the costs of this case are already booked, albeit not broken out. | momentos
20/12/2006 13:17 | Are they selling enough Boateng gear to cover those payments, one must ask. That judgement takes some reading, I`ve got a headache now. | ![]() dan de lion
20/12/2006 12:48 | WEll there you go, the detail on the Boateng deal. Perhaps it is worth arguing, 400k spend a year for Marchpole! "7. During the course of 2002 Artpower and Bespoke negotiated the Agreement, under which Artpower was to produce Bespoke's diffusion and jeanswear ranges. The Agreement provides for Artpower to design, produce and sell within the United Kingdom diffusion menswear based on sketches provided by Bespoke, and to use exclusively Boateng trademarks for that purpose. In return, Bespoke would receive from Artpower a guaranteed annual sum of £200,000 and a sales-related royalty. Artpower also agreed to spend a percentage of its sales from licensed items on advertising and promotional activities, subject to a minimum of £80,000 per annum, and to contribute at least a £120,000 annually to the cost of fashion shows to promote Mr Boateng's work. The Agreement also, in essence, granted Artpower an exclusive license to exploit the names 'Ozwald' and 'Boateng' for menswear and jeanswear diffusion ranges to the exclusion of any other person, including Bespoke and Boateng. | momentos
20/12/2006 12:19 | Added to header News, must tidy up that header sometime, since they updated the Marchpole website my images have disappeared. | momentos
