Sorry I was Not around to reply to you Yesterday. As You say "Marchpole have 115 Staff not 1" but Hardman quite rightly point out "Mr Michael Morris, Marchpole's Executive Deputy Chairman, is vital to the company's operations. We believe that a significant element of "key man risk" must be attached to Mr Morris."

As for the YSL Licence and Easy money this is what the Guardian said in 2002

" Marchpole was seen as low-risk. Simply designing clothes under the eye of YSL and distributing them to retailers on a made-to-order understanding was a cash cow. The hype was that Marchpole offered almost risk-free growth."

If you read the full article you will find it was not the YSL brand that caused Marchpole's downfall, it was Michael Morris.

"In the midst of this chaos, Michael Morris, Marchpole's pugnacious founder - and chief executive until he was asked by the board to resign in February 2000 - has been accused of 'recklessly' spending company cash during his time as CEO; wining and dining friends and clients as if that money were his own."

Yes Marchpole did very well under Greg Tufnell when he stepped in to save the company but he has now gone and MM is back in charge. You will also see from that Guardian piece that Morris has previous form in getting embroiled in legal disputes so nothing much has changed there.

There may be 115 souls in the Marchpole Holdings but only one counts.

I hit pingu 250.2 metres and thought i was doing great until i skied him and well, the poor beastie is stuck in the Ice beak 1st now. A bit like pingi who doesnt seem to be able to let go of a share that (he) has sold. Mnnn so Pingi or is it pingu? what price would you buy back into MPH ? And have you contacted Marchpole about the discrepancies you feel are in the accounts ?

ARGY2, sat between resistances 112.5p and 125p with 120p there to break.Ignoring temporary self inflicted wobble and though no longer a holder MPH continues to impress me compared to rest of market some racing away only to see all gains lost on fallback.sp holding recent gains & remains rock solid.

Tight spread trading inside 118p-119p > 118.12p-118.8p treading water consolidating below 120p resistance. Thin volumes.Looks positive (to me) mms content happy soaking up sells paying increased premium over yesterday possibly filling suggested buy order? share price rock solid no suggestions of drifting.
