" Surely the smart and grossly overpaid deal men on the Board of MRO got reciprocal commitments on long term future supply/sourcing contracts from Airbus at the time of the GKN acquisition?"

Please explain why you believe that during a tightly contested takeover that the challenger is going to try and renegotiate contracts with the biggest customer!!!!!!

1} Before the take-over it obviously isn't GKN and therefore cannot negotiate anything in its name .

2}Why would Airbus consider for a moment renegotiating existing contracts - undoubtedly valid for years ( unless they saw an advantage for themselves } ?

BBC FAKE NEWS

Is BBC trying to destroy Brittany Ferries business?!!! They refuted bbc article with

“BBC reports have worried many customers and potential passengers today. To be clear, all passengers are being re-booked, no holidays are cancelled. It is nonsense that passengers cannot book beyond March. They can. For the facts - not fear - click here: bit.ly/2AZs2oO”;

The trouble is,May drew her red lines from the outset to appease the hard brexiteers. She started banging on about what she was or was not prepared to accept from the off.If you negotiate, you listen to everything proposed and then work your way to a satisfactory conclusion.May simply chose, without consultation,to interpret what Brexit meant to the nation. Now leave might mean leave but as we're learning, there are interpretations of what constitutes leaving.Even Egg Nog appears to be flexible in that respect.May's plan could now be approved if the backstop is removed. It goes on.

I think you have been watching too much Dragon's Den and also listening too much to Mr Sugar.

I don't want to leave the EU, you do.

I don't need to negotiate anything. I already have a defined relationship with my European friends! ;)

I’ll take it that you always fought your corner aggressively then.

So you wouldn’t take No Deal off the table then, and would be prepared to walk away to get the best deal.

No pressure here Brexit(😌) and I have no intention of playing your sad little games. As I said, I am more than happy for you to take it that I didn't have a company. I don't care whether an old man on ADVFN believes me or not. Honestly, come on, why should I? LOL

I DO CARE about elitest attitudes in society and I DO CARE about this nasty growing contempt for the young that our elders seem to have.

I am not Getting.

Answer please. Did you ever just cave in during negotiations?

Don’t change the subject.

Sadly you NEVER answer questions which put you under the SLIGHTEST pressure. Which suggests you have a very closed mind.

If you don’t answer we obviously take it that you never had a company.

@ Zibrahimovic

Just what is your interest in visiting this bulletin board to encourage readers to visit another - unconnected - one ?

You must realise that this makes you look like a shill (though for what purpose, I am unsure )

" Come over to LSE website FRR thread, where the pro's are. "

...and this comment is just so juvenile that I wonder you didn't write "big boys "

I saw Nigel Farage on Peston's show last night.

I thought he was wonderful, with sensible, logical, coherent arguments. My wife also thought he was wonderful, even more than me I believe.
He is my role model in life. I wouldn't go so far as to say I adore him, but as national or world leader, he would get my vote.

Do you really think that is going to make any difference brexitplus?

There seems to be a general consensus in parliament for an Article 50 extension if necessary.

Desperation now creeping in. Poor old loser RM now thinks the Queen is going to help him. LOL

Absolutely right it is.

Some may have left, yes, but a fairly small proportion, and there are whole companies still running on cheap eastern European labour eg Pret a Manger. Don't you watch the news?
Yes there will be hiccups but not a 'catastrophe'! A catastrophe is what has happened in Syria!
