Gearing is related to NCR's not profits. The company is aligned to Adjusted Profit estimates of £59.7m & estimated borrowing of £111.6M. At 30.6.23 NCR's were only £37.1m so surely the mention of buybacks is premature, & possibly of dividends too?

Gearing is fine just over 1 x ebitda

This needs a buy back as soon as possible

Incredible value now

"Better borrowing terms" would be to get the gearing down & put the business on an even better footing. Only then contemplate dividends, & forget about buybacks

Will be nice if the refinancing brings forward the day when they can either do buybacks or pay a dividend. Not sure if we will get better borrowing terms now that our net debt is on course to be a lot lower than it was at the peak (£111m by 30/06/25).

Chris Smith Chief Executive Officer moves 300,000 of his MCB holding into his and his wife's ISAs.

A positive move.
I would only move a share into an ISA that I believed was undervalued and likely to result in a future CGT liability outside of an ISA. Any dividend on 300k shares would also not attract income tax.

List of market makers:

Market makers on MCB L2 today
SNGR 110 buy & 120 sell volume 7500
PLHC 108 vs 118.5 volume 7500
WNTS 108 vs 118 volume 7500
SHOC 107.5 vs 118.5 volume 7500
CNKO 107 vs 118 volume 7500
RAZH 107 vs 118 volume 7500
IHCS 107 vs 118 volume 10000

So of 240,000 buy orders, 45,000 are from market makers. One buy order is 150,000 at 110 which leaves about 45,000 of buy orders on various exchanges LSE, AQX, CHIX which I don't think are market makers.

This is my interpretation and may be wrong

Volume last Thursday afternoon and Friday morning at 1.15p coincided with the disappearance of 150k @ 1.10p.
It looks like the buyer could not get what they wanted at 1.10 and had to raise their price.
L2 is currently evenly balanced.
