Well, surprise surprise Halifax is currently showing the latest price of *1p. * being "the market of quotation is closed - this figure is the latest available closing price". Obviously no dealings can be placed!

TD Direct Investing will trade on the Swedish market, but only using a telephone trade. No online trading facility is available for the Swedish market with TD.

The difficulty transferring your shares to TD is getting over the hurdle of them accepting the transfer of a delisted company.

Always valued your views - even your itchyheyho charting tool - in spite of all provocations etc .I think they - MB and his gang - came on board knowing exactly what they were going to do -from RTO to selling Soko and delist .Think they have done very well thus far already more than recouped their initial investment - in salaries ,expenses , options etc .Think they also have relist scenario all planned out and it's now endgame for them.Cant see them hanging round .They have sucked out as much they wanted. What price do you see them relisting ?One final thing the whole soko sell off deal very dodgy to me .From price to people they sold it to ( any previous relationship who knows ) and bonus payment being paid out after delist motion voted through .Any views ?Have a look if have time .Most curious .But again it's just IMHO

I'm okay these days, Superted. Poorer, but wiser! How are you? I confess I haven't been following the MTA saga closely. I just look into this bb once in a while.

I think you are probably correct to be pessimistic. I think some on this bb have fallen into the trap of making over optimistic forecasts for MTA. It's easily done as I did it myself in the past. However MTA still exists and hopefully it can prosper to such an extent in the future that locked in shareholders can recoup some of their losses. A lot will no doubt depend on the future oil price.

I believe Pinky & Perky were honest, but incompetent; just not up to the job. However they weren't fools; they received excellent salaries for probably cushy jobs whilst employed by MTA and very good pay offs including sizeable sums when their free options were converted into shares and then immediately sold. It turned out the mugs were those who bought those shares!

How are you?
Long time - what do you make of current situation ?
I think we were far better off previously before this lot got involved .
Last lot may have been unsuccessful
possibly incompetent but they played no games .
Think this lot have quite 'legally ' sucked out all they set out to and now looking to move on .

Cant see getting anything more than 25% of delist price - if that - for shares ignoring consolidation etc.

I'm now starting to panic, maybe they'll relist and superted won't sell up and we'll be stuck with him.. Good thing he wasn't around when pinky and perky were drilling for water.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

He was around when Pinky & Perky were drilling for water. He used to post on the lse bb at the time. Unfortunately I was a MTA bull at the time. I thought they were drilling for oil; silly me! I'll give superted his due; whilst I was bullish he was cynical. I was wrong and he was right!

king kong dong - in a nutshell then....

Matra delisted from AIM three years ago and have been operating as an unlisted company since then. They have now decided to relist on the Swedish stock exchange.

The share conversion to the new company (Matra Petroleum AB) will be 5:1 so you will initially get 5x the number of shares you currently hold. When they relist, there will be a consolidation of 1000:1 to reduce the number of shares in issue to comply with the listing requirements on the Swedish stock exchange. The net effect of the two conversion should keep the impact neutral overall.

If the shares are held in paper form, Computershare will probably contact you and issue a new share certificate. If your shares are held online, then you need to check with your broker if they hold CDI's (the equivalent of shares in a foreign company) - if they dont, you will need to transfer them to a broker who does. If you end up in this situation, let us know and there are posters on here who have already successfully arranged transfers.

The listing is due to take place this month and we dont know what the listing price will be yet. I expect we will get some further news within the next fortnight.
