I think the question to ask is, what benefit will Matra gain by listing their shares. At the moment all we know is that they intend to raise $5m via a placing within the next 6 months. It seems a lot of trouble for such a relatively small amount of money.
Could there be an all share acquisition in the offing, that would make more sense. Is Vlad about to be parachuted into the target company as CEO.

Hopefully we will find out soon.

Bit coin You need to calculate oldMatra part which is 33%.Equates to delist price of around 1p per share before any share consolidation So zero change

ted, what price do you expect them to list at?

if the list price equates to £100,000,000 net worth and they delisted at about £5,000,000 3 years ago then presumably they are saying that wealth has been earned in that period, or am I missing something?

'Faith in management '????You folk need medical help .There was no need to delist in first place as events have shown They could have done all that they have achieved - ie nothing - whilst listed on AIM.Other than award themselves back pay and who knows how much in expenses what have they achieved. Nothing has changed .They only delisted so as to ......There is only one way this is going .It's going to be three years since this was on AIM and you still believe this lot care .What single thing have they done whilst delisted which they couldn't have done if still on AIM or which has benefited small shareholders ..

soggy, I agree with your sentiment.

I think the point to bear in mind is that no-one benefits at all if this either has a low re-listing price or the share price tanks on Day 1. So I expect Matra to issue a document that outlines their 3-5 year development/expansion plans ahead of the listing which I would should support the price. At the EGM, it was stated that the company was worth $100m which equates to the equivalent of a share price of 1p and I'll be disappointed if its less than that.

ned, I suspect as part of the pre-listing communication, they will confirm what price they will list at. Not sure when that would be, maybe a week or so before the listing date?

I'm sure that some will bail out immediately, Ned. But it will presumably be at a considerable loss. For some, that's better than nothing, which is what their holding has been worth for a few years, so it's understandable.

The price might well drop on listing as a result.

Alternatively, since many of us invested because we had faith in the management and their vision to get this built into a medium sized co., we will be willing to leave our money on the table, or even add to our stake. After all, he has managed to keep the company alive, just, despite the rug being pulled from under their feet with the oil price crash and all the rest of it. They've got us to the point of re-listing, and they have a business strategy to get the company growing. Barsky's interests are still largely aligned with ours. He wants to see that share price grow too.

I which case, if peeps buy more and new investors like the prospects, then the price might rise on listing, or shortly afterwards.

You pays your money, you takes your choice...

Personally, I think I'll just stick with it. I've written off my investment a long time ago, so I'm prepared to let the wheel spin and see what comes up. I still rate Barsky and expect he can do it. AIMVHO

Let the good times roll!

Thanks Budget ;-), not long now . The big question is to either sell ASAP or wait to see if the share price picks up. Will we get an indication what this will before they start to trade?? What will dictate the price?

ned, they have to say that because that's what was stated in the Scheme of Arrangement document issued by Matra at the start of the process. Matra had to include a caveat just in case of an unforseen scenario occurred that stopped the listing. However, now that we've got to this point, the listing will happen.
