fbrj, HL has told me that it will be acceptable to hold CDIs in the account but they were not sure if they could be traded through the account. I'm still waiting for a definitive answer. My plan was to wait until they'd been credited and the company listed and then transfer them if I decided to trade them.

budgetbond - I have MTA in about 4 accounts and am considering amalgamating them all with one broker. As I have most of my funds with HL it might make sense to transfer them there. Do you know for sure if HL will trade the CDi stock once the stock consolidation has concluded?

Hi all,

I only recently came to know that Matra is listing in another exchange. I had my old holdings in Halifax share dealing, would they be just automatically credited there or would I need to open account with another broker and has any one done this transfer from Halifax to another, how does it work

- a new Chairman who is not listed on the website
- an ex-COO who is staying with the company who is not listed on the website
- new website that looks like a holding site

Feels like the first announcement could be an interesting one

The holding site has been there for quite a while. There was a link to it on their main page shortly after the announcement. No problem with there being just a holding page or two while the deal and listing is being put in place. I just wonder if the Swedish pages are properly translated!

ned, I think the new website is poor and it looks to me like its what I would call a 'holding site' - a website that is put in situ while another far more comprehnesive one is being built. I can't see Matra attracting many institutional investors with that.

A bit too close to the ' Valentines day Massacre ' for my liking but I am sure the end result will be a million times better than another three year silence !

In the email that was sent out by Matra on 15 January titled 'Post AGM and Court Meeting Results and Amendment to Expected Timetable of Events', there was an attachment with a revised timetable.

There was an activity in the schedule for 'Expected Date for crediting of New Matra CDIs to CREST accounts' which was within 14 days of the Effective Date (3rd Feb)

So anyone who has CDIs in their CREST account should have them credited by Friday 17th Feb

Not long to wait and as with Brexit, it's been voted for, it's happening so let's all get together and make it happen. Half full and all that?

looneytune, I'm in both too - I agree, plenty of upside in both as I have a very low average (I bought a significant chunk in Matra at 0.4p as I always believed they would relist)

I'm starting to wonder if Eric Forss is bringing the acquistion to the party? Without wanting to sound like a broken record, the reason for his involvement in Matra is the key. And we dont know (yet) what that is.

And why does it look like Eric is going to become Chairman - you dont need a Chairman and a CEO for one company when Max was managing it perfectly well on his own.

It suggests to me that a restructure is imminent, and possibly on the back of an acquisition. If calm is right and Vlad is sticking around (and I've no doubt he is), then it would suggest that there's another role for him in the Group as he's not currently on the website - so possibly in another company within the Group?
