super, my obsession is obviously as bad as your conviction that we're all going to get screwed! Until three months ago, Matra wasn't going to relist was it?

SuperfredWhy would anyone invest or stay invested - not producing much, seriously in debt and management milking no hemorrhaging company in salaries Ps - oil price only crashed good while after they delisted .As for Ned continuously warned him about trapeze artist Norah but you know how blind is love as budgets obsession for all things MB demonstrates. There's still our other half brother superedsmith -Last I heard he was in Buddhist retreat in clacton on sea of all places

Ted...Also at $27 I think they would of been operating at a loss.(no point in drilling) If most of the £5 million was spent on "due diligence" as Budget as mentioned surely this is a good decision. I wont deny that I was not hoping for more. But the situation has been governed by the price of oil. Not by the boards lack of ambition. We are all on the same side, but its good to have a difference of opinion.

I agree not a lot has happened but oil at one stage was $27 per barrel.
the boards hands were tied, they had to sit tight.
I was expecting an acquisition at some stage.?
But I have faith in Maxim Barskiy, I believe he is trying to duplicate what he did with West Siberian Resources and turn Matra into a mid cap company.
People will invest.
ps
Ned joined the circus, he fell for a trapeze artist ;)

super, what was interesting at the EGM was that they haven't spent the $5m on the drilling - when I asked Vlad about it, he said they'd spent most of it on due diligence

Dear long lost brother superfred

What exactly have they added in value to company .
It's only 800popd - think they have added 150 bops having spent $5m drilling .

Why would anyone invest .
What they say and what they do very different .

Ps any news from our long lost half brother supernedsmith

Missed you too brother.

Sub 1p be a disappointment for me.

Surely the board have added value as they are predicting a market cap of $100 million.

It was about $20 million when we delisted.??

Just a guess..

$100 market cap Dived by 36.6 million shares = $2.73 (two dollars 73 cents)
about 24 Sek?
About £2.17 (pound)

Can we have a sweep stake (guess the SP)

Winner gets barrel of oil.

If they were to list at .3p/6sek that would value the business at £19m(6sek * 36.6m shartes/11.1 sek to £'s), they then plan to raise $5m via a placing. They would probably offer the shares at a discount say 5sek this would mean a further 8.9m shares would be issued or 24% of the total share capital.

If the placing was issued to one financial institution would Barsky want another major shareholder in the business?

I'm lost on the references to 0.3p. I'm sticking with delist and relist at 1p.

Budget You surely surely do realize I am talking in relation to delist price and equivalent for new shares before any modifications made Thus 0.3 would be loss of around 70% on 1p delist Help

maceman, Vlad confirmed the market cap was £100m so the relist price (without any other news) should be the equivalent of 1p

Woody- how does delisting at 1p, being offered .3p then offered no opportunity to trade, better than being in BP!? Anyhow, not much point in tit-tat right now, that can be converted to fact once we know our imminent destiny. I had thought we were screwed so anything is a bonus!

super, a 0.3p share price would equate to a market cap of £35m which is clearly incorrect.

back to some nitty gritty. I'm looking to transfer my shares to a stock broker that will deal on the Swedish stock market. I know the Sharecentre has been recommended by SuperT, any other suggestions, i'm looking for one that has no monthly fee ....... let's ALL hope we have some good news .......

Ted - saying the same thing over and over again to same audience doesn't actually add anything to the debate. I think we are all abundantly clear on your point of view, and no doubt equally disappointed that some little AIM Russian oiler hasn't ten bagged and made us all rich.

I expect you now wished you could have invested in the safety of a big FTSE 100 oiler such as BP over the last 3 years instead.

By comparison: BP share price 3 yrs ago (31/01/2014) was 478. Currently trading at 480.

So BP has outperformed MTA by 0.4%.

Don't forget to let us all know when you've sold up!

You have been screwed for last three years whilst shares non tradable. And you will continue to be IMHO.I always said 0.3 wait till you see what happens Anyway it's obvious that no matter what they do ,you believe they are the second coming .

I'd much rather be trading in the US than in Russia - significant differences in taxation too with the US being more beneficial
