08/9/2021 21:51 | A 30% discount is about right for a poorly-managed fund, so anything close to 140p would be acceptable to me | ![]() tiltonboy
08/9/2021 20:53 | When do you consider the right opportunity to get out is? | ![]() badtime
08/9/2021 19:31 | Post Zegona, this will be a slow return of capital rather than an income yield. | ![]() tiltonboy
08/9/2021 09:01 | As I suspected MVIR panning out the better play post ZEG disposal? I wonder if Le Chameau is now on an uptrend. Remarkably they say it´s profitable in 2021. | ![]() eezymunny
08/9/2021 08:46 | I have no confidence whatsoever. Just waiting for the right opportunity to get out. My own fault for getting back in, having sold at 220p years ago | ![]() tiltonboy
08/9/2021 08:37 | Agreed. Still, happy to bank the 7% yield whilst comforted by the 31.5% NAV discount at a conservative 190p. Of course the big question is whether they are able to find a profitable target for all the cash... | ![]() skyship

03/9/2021 21:48 | Nice 250k trade @ 1.30p reported late today to keep the momentum going. Hopefully a long overdue rerate underway. | ![]() gleach23

14/8/2021 07:05 | No brains, not no-brainer! | ![]() tiltonboy
13/8/2021 16:07 | The ZEG tender at 153.5p with ZEG remaining as a shell. This should add a few pence on to the MVI NAV. NAV announced today at 181p I think MVI will now basically consist of Le Chameau (12% of NAV) with net cash being 88% of NAV. Most cash held directly with some spread across a few SPACs such as ADVT. It's a no-brainer for the management to do some kind of tender and effectively buy cash at a discount here. I'm not sure they are that clever though. | hugepants
05/8/2021 08:08 | XD this morning, pay day 27/8 | ![]() cwa1
29/7/2021 07:26 | 29/07/21: INTERIM DIVIDEND TO ORDINARY SHAREHOLDERS The Company is pleased to announce that an interim dividend of 2.265p per Ordinary Share will be paid on 27 August 2021, pursuant to the Company's ordinary share distribution policy. | ![]() skyship

30/6/2021 16:22 | >> SS Thanks, muddy indeed - just hope the discount narrows and they do something with the cash sitting there. | ![]() toffeeman
30/6/2021 15:51 | "Marwyn Value Investors has 2 classes of share - ordinary and Realisation shares. Both classes have the same rights, except that the Realisation shareholders are only entitled to returns on realisations made on investments." You'll find plenty of information in past MVI pronouncements - in typical Robert Ware fashion a further complication to muddy the waters. | ![]() skyship
30/6/2021 14:42 | >> Skyship Can you explain the point of realisation shares to a dimwit please? | ![]() toffeeman |
