Well done, mine was the little £800 punt at 107.12 yesterday.

Adds a few pence to MVI NAV. With all the interest in SPACS, I'm surprised there hasn't been more interest in MVI given they have some off-the-shelf vehicles ready. I had to pay 108 this morning

Dealings in MAC1 - nice close spread as they power up to 140p-170p!

In the meantime, if they announce something blockchain related then the new venture should skyrocket!

There is of course a continuation vote later in the year, which if lost would put them into orderly wind-down. Market soundings will be taken well before the vote, so we may hear something sooner.

Yes I think the argument to return cash to shareholders has been lost now. Irrespective of your opinion it isn't going to happen. So this kind of progress is exactly what we need to get the share price moving. I agree, whilst we know no detail of what is planned this looks a credible proposition. I will remain in

To be fair the new venture has someone pretty credible stumping up £millions of their own money, so looks a better value proposition than some of the less successful investments you mention.

I mean the little companies Marwyn has set up. Fair few failures recently.

If you mean Marwyn, then that scenario seems unlikely, they have been around since 2006 and no reason to suggest a demise.

Sweepstake for how long and what percentage of investors money this uses before folding?

Folks may be thinking they are buying MAC1 Wouldn’t be surprising given the amount of due diligence free punting at the moment (B90 being most extreme example)

Another MVI shell is moving this morning. MACP traded up to 3.9p.

So, we have committed 15% of NAV to this vehicle. Given the name behind it, and illiquidity in the shares, I think it will open at a decent premium. Let's see if we get any follow-through into MVI

Not much sign yet of the SPAC craze spilling over to MVI. Au contraire! MVI has 4 SPACs; MAC1, MAC2, MAC3, MACP

I did mean MAC1, sorry. And "working capital" for an investment vehicle means fees for advisors pre deal. Project development costs

I presume you mean MAC1. This is what MAC1 said: "to provide additional working capital to support the Company in the execution of its stated investment strategy"

Thats right but why do MV1 need the money? To pay fees to advisers regarding a transaction(s)currently under appraisal

That investment is by Marwyn Managament not by MVI.

I agree thats a worry, a sum like that is clearly for fees. Lets hope its a productive exercise
