30/7/2015 10:37 | What do you want from a company valued at a one bed flat in London? Of course there is risk here....."there is significant potential uplift value for Marechale's shareholders" tells us all that there is potential to make a big return. Thats it..potential.....bu | ![]() barnetpeter
29/7/2015 21:56 | barnetpeter, you appear to have missed the rest of the paragraph in the results, "Whilst it is difficult to attribute values until planning permissions and grid connections for sites have been secured, there is significant potential uplift value for Marechale's shareholders; the valuation on the balance sheet represents the last funding round, and the Company's investment is being carried at GBP140,000, based on the Equity Method of valuation and including a provision to reflect the uncertainties of the planning process for its solar schemes and specifically a potential loss on appeal of the project mentioned above in proportion to Marechale's beneficial ownership % in Northfield. The environment for developing large scale solar schemes continues to be challenging, and whilst we are hopeful that value will be realised in due course, there are still significant risks involved." | ![]() troutisout

29/7/2015 16:23 | This may fall back a bit now that news is out; get ready to add / buy. At this mkt cap ....this from latest results. The Company's most significant initiative in the renewables sector is the development of large scale solar energy sites in the UK, through Marechale's associated company, Northfield UK Solar Limited (Northfield). Established in 2013, Northfield is developing a portfolio of solar sites. Marechale's stake in Northfield, at around 26% of the enlarged equity, is the Company's largest investment to date. As previously reported we are still awaiting the outcome of a planning appeal on the first site, on which a decision is due in the Autumn of 2015. Northfield's second large scale site is now in planning and we expect to hear a decision later this Summer. Whilst it is difficult to attribute values until planning permissions and grid connections for sites have been secured, there is significant potential uplift value for Marechale's shareholders | ![]() barnetpeter

24/7/2015 08:57 | Looks like it. Probably managed to get a couple of suckers to buy into it, and then bailed out, to go on to the next one under another alias. It's a nasty way to make a living. | trilby4

21/7/2015 15:47 | SP now at 1.5p mid. For all who follow this, a warning. Every time some spiv ramps it up, based on old arguments and promises of future multiples, it does look like it's moving. But as soon as the ramper and anyone else with a few £1000 worth tries to sell, we go straight back down. I wonder what Treacle made on his "massive holding". A few hundred quid. Sad. | trilby4
