Yes, it may be that OXS will release the news about Turkey thru MKD and somewhere down the line slip in an rns that they have been caught unawares and the Khandiza license has been approved.

Until conversion offer ends

Reasons
1 / currently, if OXS price shoots into '80s then arbitrage
2 / go round the above cycle enough times and pray Oxus offer retro top-up !
(will assist OXS complete their mission)

Strike 40p, exercise date Oct 2006. Currently offered at 4p (bid 1p = spread of 75%), so in simple terms if you think MKD will be priced at >= 45p at some point before the end of October and you intend to exercise (to avoid the spread) then they might be worth a punt. However, leverage would appear be minimal unless MKD goes to > 50p.

I doubt that these particular warrants are priced are using Black-Scholes equations like proper options. However if they are then implied volatility might just allow a chance of sneaking a quick profit sometime before October. The spread and decreasing time value mitigates against it though. A lot.

More prosaically, there is also the uncertainty as to what would happen to the warrants if MKD were to be de-listed or taken over. I suppose if they were in the money some sort of fair deal might be worked out but I haven't looked at the blurbs to actually find out what the T&Cs are.

No advice intended etc.

thescoop, it was a rare flash of inspiration on my part, to realize a gain on some i've held from sub 10p and effectively buy them back at a discount!!
That's the cunning plan, however many a slip between cup and lip. Lets see if it works out.
