31/3/2006 15:50 | Tee-Man, I love your idea of realising your Cap GAins allowance by selling OXS and buying MKD. You never know, if this idea catches on then we could see the arbitrage window collapse to the point that MKD is worth more than 1/3rd of OXS; wishful thinking! FYO I'm holding tight to my MKD and I'm just about to look into the worth of MKDW (prompted by this board) since I had completely forgotten about them existing! Good luck all. | thescoop
31/3/2006 12:03 | nobull... The only drawback in your argument is if the MKD holders sell out at around 40p as opposed to those who have already converted around 23p. Also no deal has been officially announced to small holders unless of course you ring Oxus to do the deal. | ![]() cezary
31/3/2006 10:08 | Yes GS, I agree. But the execution of the plan may be tricky. If he pulls it off, it will be another Trew masterstroke. | ![]() nobull
31/3/2006 10:01 | no bull - yes, this is probably the case, both stay in synch as Oxus goes £1+ ! | ![]() giant steps
31/3/2006 09:56 | Teeman, they just continue releasing good OXS news as and when necessary (e.g. if the gold price doesn't do the job for them?) and keep offering the 1 for 3 deal. The MKD shareholders may well get the equivalent of 40p per share, but not better than a 1 for 3 deal. The first people to swap don't get jealous, because their OXS shares will be worth more now than when they made the swap. OXS doesn't suffer too much dilution and the MKD shareholders who swap last can say they got an higher equivalent price than the first people who swapped. If this is the game plan, everybody wins? Brilliant. | ![]() nobull
31/3/2006 09:49 | Eurofox - looks like they are in synch, bodes well MKD 23-25p (down 0.5p bid) OXS 76-77p (down 2.5p bid) | ![]() giant steps
31/3/2006 09:35 | OXS dropping off - wonder how soon before MKD is affected | ![]() eurofox
31/3/2006 08:28 | Screen prices bid 24p offer 25.5p, volume @ 08:30 57K / 4 trades MKD 24-25.5p (up 0.5p bid) OXS 77-79.75p (down 1.5p bid) tee man - how strange, the 1 for 3 ratio may soon be 1 for 2 ! I wonder how Oxus are going to complete this exercise. MKD dividend has created so many small holders, how to tempt them (40p ?) !! | ![]() giant steps
30/3/2006 19:06 | EtR - ok, thanks; i'll take a look at PGI | ![]() giant steps
30/3/2006 18:49 | GS you may be right but the Mining index was up today to support my view. O/T It's good news for this thread that you post here. Keep up the good work. Better still ,buy some PGI and start posting there, i'm getting lonely! lol. | ![]() eriktherock
30/3/2006 18:45 | EtR - no, i still believe we are going to see MKD fireworks. Interesting times ahead | ![]() giant steps
30/3/2006 18:42 | Great day, yes. This was all on the back of the 12% increase in the OXS share price This in turn, was on the back of the price of Gold & silver to a lesser extent. Any downward revision to the pog(maybe to $550)will see a similar revision to the OXS share price & here. | ![]() eriktherock
30/3/2006 18:37 | Closing screen prices bid 23.5p offer 25p, volume 1048K / 46 trades Substantial volume noted, squeeze looks underway ~ bodes very well | ![]() giant steps
30/3/2006 16:35 | Marvellous day OXB AND MKD ! just keep it coming along , new Gold price etc.. just lets see that 'li'll piece of paper'. | ![]() hectorp
30/3/2006 16:31 | Certainly hope so, otherwise I have a real dilemma as I don't want to hold OXS shares. Nothing against them, but I already have enough gold in my portfolio to fill Fort Knox. | ![]() ad1967mc
30/3/2006 16:15 | All u mkd holders stay firm because i reckon khandiza will come in | ![]() cezary
30/3/2006 16:14 | EtR - thanks, all the best with your OXS etc. | ![]() giant steps
30/3/2006 16:09 | Good call GS. well done guys. I'm pleased for you that I am wrong about my 22p call. OXS sweeeet. | ![]() eriktherock
30/3/2006 15:42 | tee man - actually MKDW is for the very brave, only 7mths left 40p strike (but worth watching if Khandiza 'yes' ) | ![]() giant steps
30/3/2006 15:42 | Oh did I forget OXS up 8.5p MKD up 2p Gold within $10 of $600 on the June contract!!! | tee man
30/3/2006 15:40 | GS might have to do some research on that, not really sure how they work. In the mean time $ gone to pot down 120 points to the euro Gold up $12 Silver up 33c | tee man
30/3/2006 15:19 | tee man - when we break through 30p we will need to think about MKDW | ![]() giant steps
30/3/2006 14:47 | Agreed GS Everywhere blue -:) | ![]() phillis
30/3/2006 14:27 | mine too 23.5-25p obviously we are both seeing things! ;-) | tee man
