07/3/2006 10:45 | sellers are geting mid price 19.25. MM short, could see tick up soon | tee man
07/3/2006 10:41 | looking good - would not like to be short here | eurofox
07/3/2006 10:40 | Could Oxus's increased stake be down to warrants being exercised? | zaphod99
07/3/2006 10:27 | How can you acquire shares from disgruntled PIs unless you go throught he market for god's sake? And that hasn't happened | phillis
07/3/2006 10:13 | Well yes it's obvious that some institution selling must have occurred, but it is also quite possible to have acquired a good chunk from disgruntled PI's. Afterall, price has been falling for 2 yrs with very little support. As hectorp says, if they want them back that is only GOOD news. My institutional/direct Is the market short of shares ? When the music stops it could be a scramble ! | giant steps
07/3/2006 10:06 | Possibly bought them through the Berlin-Bremen exchange. | cezary
07/3/2006 10:06 | cant see you point Phillis. The key! point is the obvious one. cheers H. | hectorp
07/3/2006 10:05 | Phillis - it could be that an institution also wanted out rather than an approach by Oxus. Having said that Oxus are not obliged to take up shares made available - unless they feel there is value to be had - and they should know!!! No way can 24% of MKD come from PI's - Oxus would do better to write to all PI's offering to buy their stock than go to the open market!! | dixi
07/3/2006 09:58 | Look it's obvious what happened. Oxs approached the top dozen institututions and took them out at the same time. It is impossible in such a small company to acquire such a stake without moving the price. Any institution which held more than 3% will advise the Co within three days(not that the Co doesn't already know) | phillis
07/3/2006 09:56 | Hectorp - well done Max online buy quote 10K @ 20p, max online sell quote 35K @ 19.25p | giant steps
07/3/2006 09:51 | Managed to get some at 20p dead. phew! They won't accept limit offers you have to go in blind . | hectorp
07/3/2006 09:38 | I am assuming that the shares will have come from an instituition, not the open market. It could be that the shares were unwanted and Oxus took them to avoid an overhang on MKD shareprice. I doubt an institution would sell on a whim to Oxus, and buying so much in the open market would probably be next to impossible. I would expect to see an RNS if an institution has sold out. I hold both stocks. | dixi
07/3/2006 09:38 | Giant, It wil be very interesting to see when OXS started buying - the lows around 14p last September/October would have been a good entry point and no need to declare. With the interims due shortly, the buying would presumably then be out in the open. | pecker1
07/3/2006 09:31 | If there are NO annoucements in the coming days then may be it was mainly PI's that got bought out. Interesting to see how this unfolds. Screen prices bid 18.5p offer 20p, volume @ 09:30 218K / 19 trades | giant steps
07/3/2006 09:29 | No need to declare it doshdabbler - they are the majority owner anyway. | jockthescot
07/3/2006 09:27 | Very curious. How do you buy almost 25m shares without declaring it along the way? Also, today looks like a typical PI herd reaction. It could hit 22p, but it certainly ain't the news you've been waiting for | doshdabbler
07/3/2006 09:16 | Well there are no institutional buyers. They all sold out yesterday. What does that tell you? I'm with you Erik and definitely not with the Grinch | phillis
07/3/2006 09:11 | Giant, thanks. No I don't get it. sorry. | eriktherock
07/3/2006 09:07 | Erictherock - you just don't get it, 22p max, LOL ! Look back to flotation, market rated this 40p+ at the start... | giant steps
07/3/2006 09:06 | 4p on MKD = 1p on OXS ( can someone remind erictherock ) | giant steps
07/3/2006 09:05 | 22p max imo | eriktherock
07/3/2006 09:05 | I dont need more OXS but my 2 MKD orders should by now have been filled. Other peoples are , mine isnt . ( grumble). Even my 20p to buy isnt appearing. | hectorp
07/3/2006 09:04 | Could see an share price of 27p by today...imo | cezary
07/3/2006 08:53 | Maybe buy more OXS instead today while the share price hasn't been adjusted by the revised market cap of MKD. | eriktherock |
