23/9/2008 10:30 | That article looks like spin to me. | hamsterwheel
23/9/2008 10:25 | Looks like Jamie has perhaps moved into a more strategic role with the company, rather than day to day running. Could this be a good thing? | gsands
23/9/2008 10:23 | Nah, he's off to join another private company. That's where he'll start making some dosh so is where all his attention will be. Non-exec and a consultant is probably only for a limited period. My guess is he conceded that in exchange for getting out of some of his notice period. It's less than 4 months until he leaves - surely he must have been on at least 6 months notice ? | hamsterwheel
23/9/2008 10:06 | Read ths RNS a bit more carefully and it seems he (Jamie) will be staying on the board - which is a partial relief. Still quite shocked that he has stepped down as CEO though. | gsands
19/9/2008 14:16 | Big volume so far this week. Still got one more session to go: Could this mark a turning point for the stock? | gsands
19/9/2008 12:44 | Disappointing reaction by MAY today. | gsands
19/9/2008 11:10 | Maybe GSands bought shedloads at around 830p to start an intraday recovery. | chopsy
19/9/2008 09:51 | this is intra day volatility at its finest | rochdale
18/9/2008 23:52 | Quite a vicious counter rally in the US tonight. Could bode well for UK stocks tomorrow. I hope the company put some of the retained dividend to work on a share buy back. Unless they do something to arrest this decline, there could be a perception that Mapeley is a sinking ship. | gsands
18/9/2008 17:57 | 1000p has been support for a while, shortly it will be resistance IMO! | dancing piranha
18/9/2008 17:49 | My monitor say 924 but the graph above looks more like 948p. Where did it close? | chopsy
18/9/2008 16:31 | GS are big holders of Mapeley stock. Maybe they are now forced sellers? | gsands
18/9/2008 16:14 | Another big volume day today. Seems to be quite a bit of stock exchanging hands, which suggests to me a distressed seller and a speculative buyer are busy at work behind the scenes. | gsands
18/9/2008 15:42 | Thanks HW. | gsands
18/9/2008 15:00 | New lows. Dear oh dear. This is getting a bit silly now. If Mapeley aren't careful they'll attract a bear squeeze and then the banks will loose confidence - like we have seen with so many other stocks lately. | gsands
18/9/2008 10:08 | Looks like an ending diagonal to me. I expect that in Q4 - as the rate cuts begin, we will see it pop out of this bottoming pattern: | gsands |
