07/8/2008 10:31 | HMSO results: | gsands
07/8/2008 10:09 | Results on the 11th. Expect to see further NAV right downs, but of more importance I want to see how their occupancy rates are and if there are any rent collection issues. Dividend date should be declared and hopefully some mention of the promised share buy back. | gsands
05/8/2008 12:56 | Interesting move in the REITs today. Some of the charts showing nice positive divergences. Could be that this summer has seen the lows. free stock charts from www.advfn.com | gsands
30/7/2008 12:22 | results on the 11th | rochdale
24/7/2008 17:43 | Still very volatile, not completely sure the bottom is in yet. | chopsy
24/7/2008 15:43 | I think it looks a great buy at these levels and have been adding based on big discount to NAV and 90% of its rental income govt departments - The dividend looks juicy too .. Bid interest could also be a catalyst | ok,yah
23/7/2008 16:44 | A decent bid would be great. Alas, I sold my MNR before the Limitless offer, and took a hefty loss. | elmamul
23/7/2008 16:31 | Illiquid stock. We shall see. Maybe a bid target now that a few parties are taking interest in the sector (see MNR) | gsands
23/7/2008 16:30 | It was in auction already at about 4pm at 12.94 ! now its 11.48 something is definitely going on | elmamul
23/7/2008 16:25 | Very illiquid stock. Just got to buy and hold it. Edit: Gone into auction I see. | gsands
23/7/2008 16:18 | Falling back again, any idea what is going on ? | elmamul
23/7/2008 16:08 | It's looking more and more like we've seen capitulation on this stock. Move up is as quick as the move down was - always a good sign. Shame I wasn't able to suck in more under 1000p. | gsands
23/7/2008 15:11 | Fortunately MAY have no retail premises (unless you count the Abbey portfolio) and it is this group which are squealing the loudest since the consumer spending downturn. | gsands
23/7/2008 13:39 | Has this any significance in terms of cashflow for MPY? | rochdale
23/7/2008 12:21 | "It looks as though stable rates are here to stay for several more months. We doubt that rates will be raised given the weak economic backdrop, as highlighted by a news record low in mortgage approvals today, while the plunge in oil prices are also favourable for a lower inflation outlook. Consequently, we see rates at 5% until year-end with rates being cut to 3.5% by the third quarter of 2009." (MPC minutes out) | gsands
21/7/2008 16:54 | Monthly chart: | gsands
21/7/2008 16:54 | Board may have missed a trick buying back some cheap shares. MNR bid will force others to reassess the sector. Pity. | gsands
21/7/2008 16:51 | GSands - are you in NTA? They are MNR's JV partner and are set to rise too - I think they could be target of bid from limitless too.. What do you reckon? | asparks
21/7/2008 16:46 | MNR bid has no doubt terrified the shorters and some are now bailing rather quickly. | gsands
21/7/2008 15:27 | company buyback started? - think we may have seem some shorts close | rochdale
21/7/2008 14:17 | Way undervalued. I've been nibbling in the three digit range witnessed last week. Regretably I was not able to buy more. Ludicrously cheap. | gsands
18/7/2008 18:05 | Huge volume today ! & the stock rises... | ignoble
15/7/2008 08:09 | From Maypeley's last results: The Board has decided to seek a general authorisation from the shareholders to buy back shares. The dividend will now be paid semi-annually at a revised payout ratio. This will allow the Company to increase balance sheet flexibility, invest its cash flow accretively and pursue any authorised share repurchases. The Company remains committed to returning cash flow to shareholders." I wonder... | gsands
15/7/2008 08:06 | The news for A&L's employees more worrying. Most at risk look to be workers at the bank's mortgage processing centre in Dublin and staff at its head office in Narborough, Leicestershire, as well as its many business development managers. Branch closures are another obvious area for cutbacks as Santander seeks to cut expenses and avoid obvious overlaps between A&L and Abbey. | gsands |
