11/8/2008 07:55 | Nice solid results on first impressions. Need to read them in detail but looks like the business model is operating well. NAV write downs are to be expected for the next few year(s), but this will correspondingly improve the yield. As the BoE start lowering rates next year, this will have the affect of making this yield figures look even better. At some point (middle of next year??) the NAV write downs will cease. | gsands
11/8/2008 07:19 | They propose a divi, alright. £75m writedown, is that good? | chopsy
08/8/2008 16:51 | Have GS sold a major holding? Always find it hard to interpret those releases! For reasons previously stated, Board should be removed if they propose a divi. Mapely are walking a knife edge on liquidity. | tourist07

07/8/2008 21:09 | dow down 224 and RBS results tomorrow. Not looking good in my opinion. I was in profit a while back now back in RED. | losses
07/8/2008 17:57 | Mapeley already indicated a dividend in quarterly results so I am betting the divi is safe -- The company has said it will reduce the dividend and commence buybacks. The reduced dividend still being very juicy for buyers at these levels. Typical! The price drops sharply after i've added. Hoping a double bottom will form on the chart to offer support. | ok,yah
07/8/2008 17:52 | yes in short but i doubt it or the income funds would offload and the company would not want that | rochdale
07/8/2008 16:27 | could there be chance that the divi is cut or even not paid? | losses
07/8/2008 16:25 | SP weak again today. Let's hope it's not a pre-cursor to any bad news due on 11th. Divi date will be announced on the 11th August along with the figures. | gsands
07/8/2008 16:24 | GS when is the Xdiv mate or will it be decided on results day? Bit of a steep drop today somethings up for sure. | losses
07/8/2008 16:22 | It was last year - Terrace Hill and Crest Nicholson were bidders to build and Mapeley to administer the leases. Other bidders included Land Securities/Trillium. Not that it matters, now. | jonwig
07/8/2008 16:10 | Doesn't look like anything MAY would be involved with. | gsands
07/8/2008 16:00 | No mention of May in that article. | losses
07/8/2008 15:57 | MAY were bidding for this, but have failed. Perhaps no bad thing, and the timing doesn't match the price fall: | jonwig
