28/2/2013 06:33 | Apologies from me. I had such a busy day on Tuesday with a ShareSoc all day event and then meetings in the evening that I was squeezed on time yesterday morning and had to go straight to another meeting rather than fit in the Agm. Hopefully one of the other posters will have managed to attend. The directors have been sounded out for a potential Mello appearance in April though and at that stage there should be a much clearer position on order visibility with US and UK budgets probably firmed up. | ![]() davidosh
27/2/2013 23:13 | AGM statement indicates that Manroy USA's order book is up marginally since results announcement of 15th Jan 2013. At the Annual General Meeting, Glyn Bottomley, Chief Executive, gave an update to shareholders on the performance of MUSA and informed them that the current order book had increased from US$13.2m to US$14.0m. This coupled with Manroy UKs order book of £11m (as at 1st Feb 2013 - per RNS release) certainly augurs well for the current year. Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
25/2/2013 12:48 | I agree. And I'd be willing to bet a fiver that if they announce their big order, it will flush out a bid.Why wouldn't the only other manufacturer of gun barrels for the DoD want to take out the pesky competition for loose change? These guys are competing with and beating multi-billion dollar companies.... | ![]() temelco
25/2/2013 12:33 | Im still down from 80p a year ago, so this share has a lot of catching up to do yet. Its in very much better prospects than then as well, so looking for a quid a share in not to long a time. Its a screaming buy | jimmy12345

18/2/2013 17:26 | 60p next stop? | geraldton1
15/2/2013 08:40 | I agree it makes for a more consistent performance, issue with defence and the like is that contracts can appear to take an eternity to materialise as talks tend to be drawn out and off course the small matter of export licences, still if it can recover in no small part back to the levels near flotation it'll show that they are heading in the right direction. | ![]() bookbroker
15/2/2013 08:20 | Bookbroker we don't want that sort of hype here, as mentioned above those fundamentals will give us the traction we need. | battlebus2
15/2/2013 08:14 | Would still deem this co. to be cheap at this stage, a more mature co. with a better profile, just needs to get on investors radars, looking at those other hyped up shares like WSG, AGL, etc., prospects equally as promising. | ![]() bookbroker
15/2/2013 08:09 | Up again this morning - 55p...market makers bidding now....doesnt look much stock around! 60p next? Anyone reckon there will be a trading update at the AGM? | geraldton1
14/2/2013 21:57 | Ghf - im a fundamentals man at heart....sometimes the chart just gives you that special feeling! | ![]() allstar_07
14/2/2013 18:10 | Many years ago, someone who I always thought DID know said that share prices always trickled up slowly if they were going to be solid advances. The point being that people who want to sell need to be taken out as cheaply as possible as far as the MMs are concenred. If they jump the price up they would get hit with a lot of stock which would then need to "job" out which stops any further advance - which isn't in anybodys interest. So they trickle it up slowly, taking out those that want out as it goes. Adam Smith in Funny Money said the market hates gaps - it loves filling in what was missed on the way down. That's pretty much what seems to be happening here.... | ![]() temelco

14/2/2013 17:07 | I'm no chartist, but during off-board conversations with those that practice the black-art ;-) I know a few were watching for a break above the point in November where the shareprice capitulated from. See that MAN have just broken back above that... What this means, I haven't a clue! Nice to see it rising though ;-) Regards, GHF - (who only knows about fundamentals...) | glasshalfull
14/2/2013 16:47 | Bit of strength today. | battlebus2
13/2/2013 21:30 | Allstar we are still waiting for confirmation ,the deal is still on the table so just a matter of timing. Hopefully soon. | battlebus2

13/2/2013 20:36 | I'm no chartist but it feels as if once it goes it will jump up. Been knocking on the door a few times and gradually going up. Bb-that contract cones in well be laughing. What was the kast correspondence from the company on it? | ![]() allstar_07
13/2/2013 10:41 | If we get confirmation of the long awaited contract :)) | battlebus2
13/2/2013 10:40 | There seems to be resistance around this level. I'm sure all the overhang is gone, but maybe there's something else..... | ![]() temelco |
