Lovely RNS this morning on two fronts & suggests that management may now be "walking the walk" (per my previous posts).

Contract wins in Asia & Europe also suggest they are developing International Markets & mitigating against a reliance on USA & UK.

All we need now is indication of a green light on the £8m order that's been tied up in red tape.

£8.7m market cap & forecast to deliver £1.8m PBT which equates to PER 6...& I reckon these forecasts are in "under promise, over deliver" mode.

GHF

CONTRACT AWARDS FOR NEW AND EXISTING CUSTOMERS

Manroy Plc ("Manroy"), the AIM quoted leading UK Defence Contractor, is pleased to announce that it has received new contracts totalling GBP1.8m for new and existing customers within Asia and Europe.

Included in these contracts is confirmation, today, of a significant GBP1.0m order from an existing customer in Asia. This order is covered by export licences already held by the Group allowing delivery in the current financial year ending 30 September 2013.

Making up the balance of the new contracts are several smaller but significant export orders recently received totalling GBP0.8m.

These new contracts add to the Group's existing GBP9.0m order book reported in Manroy's announcement of results for the year ended 30 September 2012, increasing the order book to approximately GBP11m.

Glyn Bottomley, Manroy's Chief Executive, said: "It is encouraging to see the hard work invested over the last two years begin to reap rewards as these contract wins demonstrate our success in winning new and strategically important customers for the Group."

Ends.

Bit confused. Company states that Group's existing order book is £9.0m + £1.8m covered in announcement. But in results this figure was just for Manroy UK, with additional £8m MUSA. Have I got this wrong (wouldn't be first time!).

Don't really see how a small co. like this can be affected, they really apply to big budget programmes, not things like replacement parts.

We may have been knocked by yesterdays projected defence cuts but with orders in excess of last years already booked i see no worry.

Good luck Tem., I'm already holding enough, however this co. needs folk like you, time the directors stumped up again if they believe all is good!

I just bought some more - can't believe it isn't just because the bounce has been fast and hard - drop back required for healthy progress. Anybody going to AGM 27th Feb? I am.

Wonder if this co. thinking of a fund-raising, hence the fall, might be out of necessity!

Only blue sky tech shares doing their bit....with investors chasing them higher & higher as they enjoy the ride. Valuations disconnected to reality.

Just wait for the music to stop....& everyone wants off!

bookbroker, im finding good news is not rising the share price anywhere on aim just now, ive just had very positive news in many of my holdings recently and even on good news the price has been dropping or not rising.

for instance AGTA, BLVN, SOU

all good news last couple days but no real movement, i also hold NEW :), and the market is sure letting me know bad news, while not giving me rises on good.

fustrating, but positive news and profits must eventually be rewarded in a higher share price.

im in here at 80p, im more fustrated than most

Market simply waiting for further news.

Shareprice now off lows and management have talked the talk....market waiting for them to now walk the walk!

All IMHO...& I'm holding firm and may buy a few more if they dip further.

GHF

It surprises me that with the positive tone of the statement that a) there has not been any more director share buying at these low levels, notwithstanding their already considerable holdings, and b) that the bounce has not extended back to the Sept/Oct. levels, they are stating that order books are at record levels so why is not reflected in the share price. We've had a small bounce, and ok confidence amongst the investment community muted, but on that last report I would have hoped for something more extensive if the Allenby forecasts are to be believed.

temelco - are you referring to the note released by Allenby on 17/1 which was 34 pages long or have they released a new note?

Allenby just issued a huge ( 34page) note to institutional clients which ended "...Buy recommendation and see fair value at 60p with the potential for this to rise much higher over a twelve month timeframe..." Quite a lot of interesting stuff in it apparently, also v interesting govt. saying hardware spending to rise

Well all we need is some positive news on contract tenders, and it should turn out to be a reasonable investment.

I just bought 30k of these - had to pay 1p over the offer. Looks really cheap and scope for some decent contracts hopefully. Certainly lots of opportunity out there. Forecasts: 7.7p EPS for 2013 and 13.6p in 2014. Order book at record levels. If this makes over £3m pbt next year as predicted, the price is simply the wrong level. DYOR of course.

Of course, but it means somebody has made a bit of an investemnt over the last couple of weeks. Could have built circa 500,000 ( not disclosable but a significant amount) and must, I would have thought taken out any overhang
