28/2/2003 19:45 | just looking at the last broker note from shore capital issued in aug 2002. they said this : "Manpower Software trades on an attractive forward looking rating. We believe the company should turn profitable in the 2004 financial year. Our tentative estimates indicate that the company trades on a P/E of about 12x May 2004. These estimates could turn out to be conservative if the company wins a multi-year large-scale contract in one of its target markets." But its clear, that these estimates were conservative, MNS is now expected to be profitable in the 2nd half of 2003. | ed winchester
28/2/2003 18:23 | from the advfn board : Take the value of the contracts announced today and its less than their market cap. £2.4m worth of contracts versus market cap of £2.2m (and this doesnt include the NHS contract - there was no value given for this contract). | ed winchester
28/2/2003 17:42 | tech yeah, silly me. Thats a crucial statement. I am confident this stock will be re-rated over the next few months. They have secured these multi-million pound orders during a very harsh economic environment. As the economy recovers, we can expect more lucrative contracts - this is implied towards the end of the RNS : "We are currently in on-going negotiations for additional sales of our products to the stated markets of maritime, government, defence and the NHS and consider that the level of new sales prospects is encouraging for the future of the Company" The NHS one is a blinder, as they can use that as an example for the other 600 or more NHS trusts they are targetting to give confidence that they (the other NHS trusts) will be buying a proven product. Exciting months ahead. Very pleased overall. | ed winchester
28/2/2003 17:01 | Statement also says. The Board is satisfied, subject to any unforeseen circumstances, that the Company will be profitable in the second half of the financial year. | tech
28/2/2003 16:31 | anyone note the two contracts worth a total of £2.2m is more or less equivalent to MNS' market capitalisation at 5p. | ed winchester
28/2/2003 16:03 | wow, a lot of contracts and the "NHS" word also included. Royal Fleet Auxiliary = £200,000 + A three-year support contract and a contract to provide further enhancements have also been agreed and signed Norwegian Cruise Lines Limited = £1.1 million major global shipping company = £1.1 million MAPS Foresight contract with Plymouth Acute NHS Trust = £ ??? plus "We are currently in on-going negotiations for additional sales of our products to the stated markets of maritime, government, defence and the NHS and consider that the level of new sales prospects is encouraging for the future of the Company" and more importantly : "As a result of the recently won contracts, together with on-going revenues from established customers, the Company anticipates that second half revenues will be considerably higher than in the past." | ed winchester

03/1/2003 22:34 | Hi All Gone a little quiet again on this board which is hardly surprising since no news has been forthcoming from the company. However a couple of sipnets worth mentioning are the agreement with Atos which I would hope will bring some much needed business in the future and of course the fact that MNS have signed up for a couple of exhibitions in 2003 which should inspire confidence that they are not going bust !!!!!! Still holding and waiting....Happy New Year to fellow shareholders Rob Ward | robward
12/11/2002 09:24 | A. Fewbob, they are sound fundamentaly with cash, contracts and a good future ahead. More upside than down, plenty of research been done on these threads so read back. | rescuer
11/11/2002 13:38 | Are their any forecasts out, how credible are they? | a.fewbob
07/11/2002 08:28 | Yep but its only a cut and paste job by this newsletter from the looks. Be nicve if they had actually talked to the company. Not set the wqorld on fire unfortunately , we need a deal to do that | felix99

03/11/2002 19:29 | very interesting read. I held this stock for a while then sold out some months ago after it hit my stop loss. But I am considering purchasing again. Looks like a niche company with some heavy weight clients. Market cap quite low compared to revenue, even more so compared to potential revenue. One contract mentioned was worth £2.7m, this compared to current market cap of £8m. Quite disproportiante, the share price should be much higher. I guess thats why "sharetalk" have picked this one out. As with the most tech stocks, this one has been battered as well. I also believe now is the time to start cherry picking the undervalued and unjustifiably bombed out companies. Will investigate this one further. Visited the www.manpowersoftware site, need to download the annual report from there - will study it and if I am satisifed will again invest a couple of quid on a 12 to 18 month view. thanks for posting that info on here, much appreciated. | phook inell
01/11/2002 08:55 | Felix99, sorry if i mis-led you amd thanks to Ed for the information.
