another contract announced and positive trading statement. Up 30% as I write.

Manpower Software PLC
06 June 2003

MANPOWER SOFTWARE PLC ('the Company')
AWARD OF CONTRACT

As referred to in the Chairman's interim statement dated 28 February 2003,
Manpower Software plc is pleased to announce the sale of its MAPS Crew Manning
software to three of the operating companies within the AP Moller Group, a major
global shipping company based in Copenhagen. The value of the contract is
approximately £1.3 million. The integrated MAPS suite will provide crew
scheduling, travel, recruitment, training management and personnel functions,
enabling the companies to manage and plan the crewing requirement for their
250-strong fleet and 8000 crew.

The order from the AP Moller Group is the first result of the Company's plan to
expand its activities into markets adjacent to the specific cruise sector,
having become the dominant supplier of crew manning systems in the cruise
market. In the last three years, MAPS has been chosen by the world's four
largest cruise lines: Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, P&O Princess and
Norwegian Cruise Line.

We are delighted to have entered into this agreement with AP Moller Group, one
of the world's leading shipping companies, which is a testament to the high
quality offering of our MAPS software. We also take this opportunity to confirm
that sales revenues have been significantly higher in the second half of the
financial year than in the first half and, accordingly, the Company was
profitable in this period. Albeit the Company will still report a loss for the
year as a whole, looking to the future we are confident that our business is
poised for further growth over the medium term.

Have a look at BSG.. they do e-buisness and are also looking like a good recovery play .. in their last results they had NO debt.. cash 8.5p per share .. current spread 5.25 - 6.5p .. not the greatest spread ....

NO DEBT - hence the buisness is thrown in for free....

take a look...

Half my post disappeared?

Ed, just checked it was actually 9.0 and 9.06 (stand corrected - the old grey matter isn't what it used to be). I just remembered I'd made about 125% as I bought at 4.x? so had to realise that sort of gain and shift the funds.

I had previously written I was tempted to get back in now the retracement has been and gone - watching on the sidelines at present.

They let me sell 50k online for 9.06p (slight premium) and the rest had to go to market. Nice to see it rebound. Still watching it.

I had to cash in as I'd bought into a couple of others (CSV and a shed load more REF) which were beginning to outperform MNS. I've sold the CSV and am now looking for a bed to put the cash in.

Don't know but one of the 50k was mine - taking some profit as I am up over 100% in less than three weeks. I still own quite a few for the longer term. Things are developing nicely.

when i mean a lot i assume over 200,000 ? (appx 0.5% of total share issue)

by the way market makers taking on 50,000 and 70,000 shares and not moving the price downwards. They must be in need of stock.... to fill an order ?

excellent news. Mr. Thorne was also one of the directors who bought 100,000 shares @ 4p on the 22nd april 2003.

He sure feels confident to go in and buy again at almost double the price he initially paid for.

Excellent news after the market closed. The F.D has added again to his holding. This bodes well for the future and I look forward to hearing confirmation of more contract wins.

Happy Weekend to you all !!!!!!
