It was a cross trade at the same price. Most probably one institution selling to another (one institution selling at 15.5p to another).

With regards to shortage of stock, there has indeed been a shortage of stock in this equity on varying occasions in the last 2 months. How do I know? In this time I have owned and sold this stock through Stockacademy. On the dealing page Stockacademy gives you alerts as to the limited availability of some stocks due to restrictions in trading in the NMS. MNS has appeared on several occasions and on at least one occcasion for several days. I have seen no recent alert i.e in the last couple of weeks.

Cheers,
The Drone

Thank you I will have a closer look at the interims etc.

I have no timescales. As for how it will be treated by the market. If its tagged along with a major order, it will be welcomed (if you read the interims, you will see MNS are on track to signing major deals). The money will not be needed for rescuing the company - far from it, it will be for expansion and growth - organically.

How do you think the placing/offer/rights will affect the current shareprice and how confident are you they will be able to obtain the necessary funding to support the new levels of activity. You say funding need or happening 'soon' could you be a little more specific regarding time, weeks, months or quarters?

I believe they will raise some money soon from the markets via a placing/offer/rights issue. They are expanding and hence need working capital to fund that expansion. Some expected lucrative orders will help, I believe one of these will be announced soon tagged with a fund raising exercise. I would welcome that.

ps they already have contracts with the British army (including the TA).

As you know I have not researched MNS in anyway other than a cursory look. Are they fully funded and is it sufficient to allow for rapid expansion into the NHS, foreign armies and into coporates.

now your talking. My opinion is it will have little. Either way, if the bid falls through or is completed, MNS will win. MNS is in bed with all three major cruise line operators. The only unsettling thing is the current bid stand off has resulted in contracts being put on hold. However, MNS signed a £150,000 contract on results day. P&O hold the option to go for the complete deal which will bring (as far as I can remember - cant be bothered checking) in a further £1.6m.

Further, MNS is spreading its wings further out trying to break into the NHS, foreign armies and into coporates. They have opened a US office to actively sell their software there.

OK. What will be the ramifications with regard to the P&O and Carnival takeover in respect of MNS, if any.

so youve made your point. You want to discuss MNS now ? even negative comments will be welcome so long as they are substantiated.

I freely admit that the reason for my presence on the board had and has nothing to do with the merits of MNS. More ever your indifference to a stock that you invest in does you credit. Maybe you could go one step further and not post at all.

My interest was and is in the similarity to statements regarding the actions of MMs and the amount of stock available or any implied or unintentional inference to availability or non availability in the same, so in as much that has been supported by Primrose and those on ACV.

with QXL at least I know what the company does and have knowledge on its finances to be critical. You on the other hand have no knowledge on MNS to do the same.

Secondly, I really dont care if a person buys, sells or avoids MNS. I never say buy sell or hold. The decision is theirs. I just post my comments on here regarding the stock.

Maybe I misunderstand the nature of BBs. You must be impassive and unbiased as you were with QXL. Not holding MNS? OK. So you are not indicating MNS as a good buy, best avoided by all?

Sorry you feel that questioning someones motives for inferring that there is a stock shortage is dragging them down to a pathetic level. I would think that a word of warning regarding what has been evident on ACV and for that matter QXL would be welcomed. Yes I know it pains you cybercity to see that name mentioned here but as one who has long 'protected' those from QXL I would hope you would rise above it and take the compliment.

Please state where I have said "buy MNS" or even persuaded anyone to invest ?

you are just an irritating factor on this board - i would even respect you if you knew something about the company, but thats not even the case.

robward, yes I will agree with you.. i will ignore freeEnterrpise from now on.

Well I am glad that you are satisfied with your statements and observations. I am afraid that I have no interest in this stock so will leave you to it. I hope that you and those you persuade to invest in this stock are successful.

Do us all a favour and dont respond to any more postings from FreeEnterprise because he has nothing of use to say. How anybody can post comments on a company they know nothing about is beyond me. He is dragging you down to his pathetic level. Enough said

Did i say 'there is a shortage of stock'. I simply stated market makers are buyers of the stock not sellers. I did not state they are short of the stock. You inferred.

As for illucidating on what MNS do. Take the trouble to browse through this thread and the other ones. You will realise what MNS do and its potential.

The talk was on Bloomberg yesterday. Sorry you missed it. No I have absolutely no idea with regard to this stock. Most pleased is you use this forum to illucidate, much more valuable information than 'there is a shortage of stock'.

The stock concerned is Synigence. Im not going to post all the announcement but it is available on this site. The stock was the biggest mover of the day yesterday !!!. FE, if MNS went private it wouldnt concern me as long as the buyout price was acceptable. The price of any stock is important, the point I was making is that INVESTING to me means acquiring positions in companies and holding for a least a year rather than TRADING where people buy and sell on market whims over the short term. Therefore Im not interested in people ramping or de-ramping shares coz in the long term if my judgement is correct i will get a good return.
Best Wishes
