Hey Ed ignore my comment to you today re I had heard stock was tight too.

Twas Rescuer who e-mailed me and I didn;t look too close and have just reread and seen that it was you who had told rescuer about the stock being tight!

LOL gotta laugh - guess thats how rumours start.

Robward you got this stock nailed on the head. Rewards massive risk also not to be understated however and the longer they wait to sign contracts the mnore the cash burns. Remember they are going for expansion with bigger overheads etc using the rights money so it may not last as long as you think - but it just needs one contract and this baby will be 30p .

Ed,

we've been waiting for these contracts for over 6 months and watched the price down from 18 - 10p.

However what i thought was strange is that i've just topped and the offer was 12.75 and the bid 12.65 can you give any explanation for the bid price

cheers in advance

just purchased 7,500 @ 11.9p and its moved the price

virtually nil debt
They have shareholder funds of £2.6m
Current market cap is around £5m
They have some top blue chip clients including the MOD, and P&O, and now targetting the NHS.
Software is unique and has high gross margins.. c.80%

Good risk reward ratio
Beware only 25% of shares in the market for trading, rest in the hands of directors and institutions

I'm looking forward to some lucrative contracts. They have some major ones already with P&O and other cruise liners so product is proven. MD was on bloomberg some time ago hinting they may be signing up a health authority for their software which can bring in upwards of £4m. Then they are targetting the house building industry, the defense industry (dutch army, belgium army even Nato) and other cooperate sectors where their software can be adapted to save costs on human resource allocation. It only takes 1 or 2 contracts to give MNS a major boost to profits. Think about it, one contract worth £4m compared to market cap of £5m. Risky but potential rewards are massive.

Hi All
Nice to see a few posts, especially from new investors "Ed Winchester". Glad "rescuer" pointed out we have in fact been patient holders for many months, indeed I accumulated my holding last December (yes 50% down) bur I agree with Ed that the risk reward is stacked heavily in our favour and am happy to hold. Even if the company go to the wall (unlikely) I would accept it is part of the risk of investing....if you cant afford to lose dont commit. Fingers crossed as always

when you have such large amounts at stake with ref to contracts, they take time to sign. The recent fund raising was fully underwritten and MNS didnt have much problem raising the money. MNS only needs one or two contracts to turn a profit. They have the cash, no debt and the company's intrinsic business value is worth much more than £5m considering each contract can be worth more than £3m to £4m so it could get attention from bigger fish as a possible take over target especially as its a got very clean balance sheet.

As for the spread, simple answer is that market makers are dry of stock and will take on stock quite easily quoting you a good price enticing you to sell. My broker tells me they are willing to pay you 12.65p for upto 38,000 shares. But unwilling to sell you more than 7,500 shares online,

Couldn't see much good news in those results. The enhanced sales team have been there for some time now and they don't seem to have had any major results yet.

Decided to sell today at a loss. A bit disappointing but will get back in again once they start winning some new contracts. Without those new wins I can't see the new cash lasting that long.

Its a long haul this one rescuer - as robward says it could blow anytime but as for timing who knows.

Everything is being put in place - funding sorted , VC taking a bit of profit and Singer ahnd Friedlander buying more to take holding to 14% odd. Existing employeee made up to Operations director or something today

Just waiting for contract news now. Cyber establishe dit rose a few p after the rights cos apparently the CEO was on Bloomberg talking about possible NHS busuienss - which to me is what I am waiting for.

Everything looks so right I just cannot beleive it and the compny looks such a good play . I have a large position sitting here waiting and am not tempted to sell at all which is unusual for me cos I'm usually very jumpy and don;t like holding stocks for long.

Could happen in days or weeks but whne it does it should double from here

Hi All
Not sure if you noticed the RNS from 5th June which was announced after the market had closed. Good news and timed I assume so the Contracts will be accounted for in the first half of financial year end 2003. Still waiting for news of contract wins in Health Service and Construction.

Hi Rescuer
I wish I could take a peek into the future but I guess if I could I would be a wealthy chap !! I have no idea when the stock price will rise but it WILL rise on news of contract wins in either Health or Construction. However we all know the dire position within the I.T sector, companies not committing to new projects so it will be dificult to win those contracts. On the positive side however, MNS have managed to sell into the Cruise sector which is a competitive market. Sorry I cant be of furthur assistance !!!

Robward, in your humble opinion, when do you see this company rising.

Bought a while back at when it looked as if they were going back up to the 25p mark. I'm reluctant to sell at today's bid but can't hold indefinatley as funds are required from here for a company which will start rising mid August, current holding about 65K volume with a paper loss of about £2K.

Any info will be gratfully recieved

thanks in advance

How can you say they are undervalued? Taking into account recent dilution what eps figures do you expect?

I would say they are undervalued based on the following information. Y/E 2002 I think we will be lucky to breakeven, probably a small loss (#500,000). However, I always look to the future, the past is history. When their new brokers come out with forecasts we will be better informed as to future earnings. A company whose software is to a standard where the major players in the cruise industry take up their product and who are penetrating other large markets have massive potential. Perhaps you have a point in that its a little early to put a value on the company, however, as usual I have put my money where my mouth is.

Hi Felix
Yes I agree with your comments. Don't you think we should change the heading of this thread to something a little more accurate for example "Manpower-under valued growth stock". I dont agree with ramping etc, eventually a stock will sell for its true worth so the current thread is unnecessary.
Best Wishes
