26/5/2002 22:15 | Agree but the timing of the move is important. They seem to have cleared the decks with the move to AIM and the rights issue - underwritten by MD etc. Change of broker now is the final thing ready for a PR push and hopefully some contract wins. Onward and upward over next few weeks and I reckon this may well attract a tip sheet to look at em soon. Classic undervalued growth stock ready to maek a move IMHO Woould be disappointed not to be back in 20p's in next few weeks myself | felix99
25/5/2002 11:22 | HiFelix Thanks for posting the link. To be fair no new news really. Companies quite often change brokers for good or bad reasons, you can rest assured we will never know the real reason !! Yes they will issue a research note which will state BUY. This company will move purely on contract wins. I note thay have also added a section on the company website to target the Construction Industry, another potential large market. All in all we're still waiting for those announcements....I'm more than happy to hold. Best Wishes Rob Ward | robward
24/5/2002 18:06 | Lewinsky, it COULD hurt, if your first name was Monica and mine was Bill! p.s. I'll be round with the cigars later! | mad4it
24/5/2002 14:42 | Go on, it can't hurt, can it? :o) | lewinsky

24/5/2002 09:39 | Interesting movement in price over the last couple of weeks...is their good news in the pipeline ? Fingers crossed | robward
16/5/2002 15:59 | New broker this am and seems to be doing their job. Roll out a contract win in the NHS and this will be through 25p again | felix99
16/5/2002 09:20 | Morning Its all gone rather quiet on this board. Have just checked out Manpower's website and they have a new link to "Solutions for the NHS". Very interesting and hopefully this bodes well for future contract wins in this sector. After the current placing I would hope the company have sufficient funds to take to profitability !!!! Still holding all my stock. Best Wishes Rob Ward | robward
22/4/2002 23:34 | This country has decayed from the inside. NHS, Education and Law and Order are all to blame and are all run by civil servants. This has become a country of badly educated brainless morons with no respect for law and destined for a life of ill health. We need a leader who would make Maggie look like a civil rights activist in comparison to themselves. Does Tony the crony fit the bill? | a.fewbob
21/4/2002 23:46 | Good post Felix! Its a pity this country also employs a whole bunch of civil servents who have to be the worst in the modern world to run the NHS as I fear the cash injection, will be wasted again as previous managers hev done in the past... Sorry to be a synic but I believe it is an institution that simply won't work. Just hope MNS get their share of the spoils . My reasoning is that like most government / counsil offices they look after themselves first. I.e the staff! So when you said that there are as many people organising beds as there are beds... it didn't suprise me, nor will it suprise me when not one of these useless staff members be made redundant to bring in more efficient working practices. | minuteman
20/4/2002 12:14 | Thanks Felix, Nice to see they are targeting the NHS which has just been given tonnes of money in this last budget. | a.fewbob
20/4/2002 00:35 | Hi Cyber Hope you are well, havnt seen you post for a while. Do you intend to take up your offer ?. What are your thoughts on the transfer to AIM ? I attended my first AGM yesterday for a company called Flomerics. It was an interesting day and useful to meet the management and fire questions, the reason for mentioning this is that I intend to go to the next AGM of MNS and also to the next exhibition which is held in the U.K. As you are a also a relatively large shareholder I thought we may meet up at the AGM or Exhibition for a chat. I note MNS are exhibiting in Greece soon but thats a little far to travel !!!!! Best Wishes Rob Ward | robward
19/4/2002 18:08 | Felix Thanks for that post...very interesting. Im in agreement with you regards potential new markets. I would be very surprised if Herald would be prepared to underwrite the company if they couldnt see the potential. Like Cyber, it would be good to meet at the AGM or Conference. Like you, I have emailed the company in the past and have had no joy but when you meet them face to face they are always more likely to "let things slip". Best Wishes Rob P.S I think we need to start a new thread with title of "Manpower Software...exciting times ahead !!". What to you think ? | robward
19/4/2002 16:46 | E-mailed company - just a thought as to whether their software covered bed planning in NHS. my e-mail and attached reply enclosed ofr info. Not got the placing doc yet but sertainly gonna take mine up - not letting the MD or the other outfit take em at 13p. Reading between the lines I would say some NHS related contracts should be on the go - especially with all this dosh Gordon is throwing their way. More than they can spend properly in my view , so they will dish it out and hopefully MNS will be fielding at first slip for some nice contracts. Dear Felix, Following my previous e-mail...I'm sure you will appreciate that the additional information which we can give to individual shareholders is limited by the need to ensure that all shareholders are privy to all published information. I would therefore refer you to the relevant text in the documentation for our Placing and Open Offer April 2002, which is available on the Investor News section of our website: "The Company has researched potential markets and has identified healthcare, shipping and construction as those sectors where the need for the software is considered to offer the best potential for short term sales and for establishing a medium term position similar to that which the Company has achieved in the cruise market. The Company is actively pursuing sales within these sectors, both directly and through alliances with partners who have expertise and an existing user base." Sales opportunities in the health industry were also mentioned in the Chairman' s Statement of our most recent Interim Report and Accounts. Briefly, we believe that our MAPS Foresight product addresses the key areas of workforce planning in the NHS, including precise demand modelling, shaping future supply to meet demand and the ability to react to changes and new developments. We hope that this information is of interest. Yours sincerely, Nigel Smith Marketing Manager Manpower Software plc The Communications Building 48 Leicester Square London WC2B 7DH T +44 (0) 20 7389 9500 F +44 (0) 20 7389 9588 E nsmith@manpowersoftw W www.manpowersoftware -----Original Message----- From: felixs Sent: 18 April 2002 15:37 To: enquiries@manpowerso Subject: To the MD / INvestor relations I am an investor in your company and I would like to know whether you have any plans to develop software for the NHS or hospitals in general which plans and manages bed occupancy and utilisation. Your software caters for staff but I was wondering about the bed side of things in the NHS. Is this a market worth developing or is it one that already has incumbents such as iSoft plc? I read somewhere that there are as many people employed in the NHS planning beds as there are beds - an ideal place for software to be developed to remove labour cost and probably do a better job. I would appreciate your thoughts and comments as to the above - and also yours thoughts on MNS . It seems to me a grossly undervalued company that just needs to get its PR and investor profile going to be given a wider recognition. Trading on a mkt cap to revenue basis of something like 3 seems silly for a software company with some excellent products Are you hopeful that this boost to the NHS will result in some contracts for yourselves - asI know NHS deals have been mooted Thanks in anticipation of a reply Felix | felix99
17/4/2002 19:27 | After further looking, I agree........ I hold from the 20's , but not many only a couple of grand... Its one of those that I'll never sell, cos I bought for long term, and am just looking to get me coin back so will hold until I do! Gone south on small volume aswell, which makes me feel hopeful! | minuteman
17/4/2002 00:15 | Basically the story hasnt changed. We knew they had cashflow problems which now have been addressed and the future of this company is dependent on breaking into new sales areas. As i have previously stated when and if this happens it would positively move the share price. Strong hold in my opinion. Best Wishes Rob P.S they are not in the s--t | robward
16/4/2002 10:34 | Good news in my opinion, my biggest concern was the funding issue. They have a lot of potential to grow and this fully underwritten fund raising is just what they need. Now we know why the price has fallen to this level and being priced at the current market price I can't see the shares falling much further. Paul | pdt
16/4/2002 07:59 | HHHHHmmmmmmm, does this mean they are in the sh1t? | minuteman

12/4/2002 16:21 | Hi All A little quiet on this BB. Not much news to report but an interesting buy of 30,000 shares today. Hopefully could be the sign of a contract win in the offering....fingers crossed !!! Best Wishes Rob | robward
22/3/2002 00:21 | Like it Cyber but then you go and ask your broker for a quote to sell 180k and see what discount they come back with. Were on a winner here , just a question of time and a few nice contracts. NHS next please - must be on cards with govt throwing money at health like no tomorrow. | felix99
