05/1/2006 10:00 | Blimey - this is a quiet thread, I like that - no ramp in the price :-) I notice that the outcome for Conditions of Fitness was regarded as a good outcome by the company: At the AGM the company said : "Taxi sales for the year as a whole continue to depend on the outcome of the second limited review of the London Conditions of Fitness which is expected to be announced by the end of the calendar year." Looks like the market might only just be waking to this - this BB is certainly sleeping on it - no post since October! CR | cockneyrebel

25/10/2004 15:37 | RNS Number:4453E Manganese Bronze Hldgs PLC 25 October 2004 Date: Monday 25 October 2004 Manganese Bronze Holdings PLC Regarding Press Speculation Manganese Bronze Holdings PLC, the speciality automotive and taxi services group, notes the recent press speculation regarding the proposed joint venture in China and the Group's mobile phone taxi hailing service, Zingo. As previously stated by the Group, Zingo has achieved faster customer acceptance than driver take-up, with more than twice as many calls taken as is currently possible to fulfill. As a result the Group is actively seeking ways of working with other organizations in the London taxi trade to grow the Zingo fleet. With regards to China, it has already been announced that a letter of intent has been signed with China National Bluestar Corporation and the Provincial Government of Lanzhou for a proposed joint venture to manufacture the Group's taxis in China. Before production can commence the proposed joint venture requires a license from the Chinese government to whom a project proposal has been submitted. Although this process can be long and complex, steady progress is being made. Manganese Bronze will update the market, as and when appropriate, should there be any further developments. - ENDS - For further information, please contact: Jon Simmons/Peter Otero Financial Dynamics Tel: 020 7269 7278 This information is provided by RNS The company news service from the London Stock Exchange END SPCILFFEIALEFIS Mang.Bronze(MNGS) | maywillow
