Seems to have good momentum and they appear to be looking towards an acquisitive growth strategy.

15p seems quite high but we are due a trading update in the coming months which should reflect an additional £2.5m/annum in sales (if things haven't slipped) from the acquisition.Thats before any improvement from the rest of the group so £6M mkt cap still not that expensive IMHO.Also when we get near 6/7p convertibles start to feed the market and liquidity should improve.

Ok hydrus, I have only 200k shares bought with limit order a few months ago at 3.5-3.7p, the expansion is Singapore is growing nicely also there has been good growth in London, but the illiquidity is a killer, so need to time my exit properly.

MLVN, at last being appreciated and their hard work starting to pay off....even with today's 37.66% uptick there's a long way upwards still to go.

For ref, the best Bid v Ask is now over the 5p marker and looking good at 5.10p v 5.5p ....and all without any excessive number or size of trades.

Could be a real winner as the newsflow from MLVN develops with time and hopefully, some broker forecasts will eventually come forth.

Just looked back on the previous comparisons on this BB to WEY and its £30m mkt cap
Makes a strong statement of value here i think.

Thanks fillipe,Its improved massively from yesterday and its very illiquid so i agree doesn't take much to move.Thankfully managed to get the amount required early this morning at not too much of a premium .My guess is the next piece of relevant news will be a trading update if history is repeated from previous years. With all of their territories showing progress you would have feel optimistic of a positive direction

It looks as though NMS (Normal market Size)is 25k shares, which doesn't mean larger can't be got, but if the market is hectic the mm's are then not obliged to deal in trades of more than 25k shrs.

Atm there are 4 mm's in MLVN, each showing 25k shrs although looking at what's gone through today, much larger trades are showing, e.g; 74,750 shrs @ 4p

The best prices at the bid/ask are 3.7p v 4p and it would appear that it wouldn't take a great number of buy trades to move this one quite a bit higher, imo.

Possibly if a large number of shares are wanted, the order could be broken down into small lots a spread over time.

gla,

Hi all, yes....I'm still here and remain well invested at MLVN.

At the time of their very recent RNS regarding Uni of East London, I must have mistyped the ticker/epic for Malvern into the ADVN search box and nothing came up....., but I got it right this time!

It's been a truly great turnaround at Malvern in so many respects and the key to their commercial success is already in place.

"Trading in the current financial year has started well and the Board is now confident that with the reorganised and a more focused Group, the impact on the performance of the Group can only be positive going forward and that it will bring the Group to profitability in 2018."

I'm delighted to continue to hold Malvern shares and look forward to hearing about their further successes, both academic and financial. I'm sure we will see plenty of both.

Greetings fillipe

Many thanks.

Another apparent advantage of this co so far at least, is that its share price seems unmoved by the shenanigans of world stock markets.

AIM company sps more generally seem affected.

Hi maytrees. There are no trades so far today, but assuming the bid/ask hasn't changed then based on buys and sells since the most recent RNS date, the actuals will be close to your numbers.

I make it 3.76p v 4.31, based on actual trades shown.

However, that's only a part of the picture because of the small number of trades. The current best bid/ask prices on show are 3.5p v 4.4p, but at those prices there is only 75k (3 x 25k lots) and 25k (1 x 25K lot) shares being offered.

If those are taken and not replaced by more of the same the next best is 3.4p v 4.5p, but there it's reversed, to 25k v 75k.

So, given even very modest action the share price is likely to show some strong strides, imo.

4.31p to buy seems to be a partial answer; I assume selling will be nearer bid share price currently 3.5p,

So actual spread nearer 3.5/4.31p - still pretty high but CEO bought 9 million shares a year ago at 5p?

The published spread seems huge. Does anyone know what the actual spread might be?

RNS today....online from MLVN is now with us.

MLVN are recovering very well from past difficulties. Check out the link contained in this RNS which shows off their new capabilities, which is only the start on this road.

One to buy, hold and watch it grow.

WEY is worth £27m, this is worth less than £4m. If they get their online offering right it could be very good.

So a multi year high. The Mcap is still minuscule. Happy to wait it out now and see how the business progresses over the next few months.
