02/8/2024 20:17 | I remember you making a fortune with LO-Q spud. Many moons ago Fair play to you 👏 | igoe104
02/8/2024 20:00 | A good question. I suspect a us player that wants a route into the BPA mkt more than pure play asset mgmt. the primary licence of Mng and the longevity dataset are very valuable. However private asset mgrs in us have traded 8-10% of aum (mental) and Mng is one of best infra / priv re / priv credit mgrs so maybe pure play am like gsam or other large us players could go for it. Macq obvs was rumoured but seems to have backed off. I guess people nervous about paying up for massive wp fund they don’t want but others would buy that so I don’t think a structural impediment | cjac39
02/8/2024 18:47 | an impactful and relevant transaction took place in fr this week. axa im traded at 15x which would read across to mng im / am being worth 3.5-4.5. makes the current mkt cap look quite modest and clarifies that the composite strategy is incorrect as you need scale in asset management even in europe. i remain of the view this should be broken up and sometime in near term someone with deep pockets will agree. | cjac39
02/8/2024 18:43 | I retired at 54 thanks to some astute Market investments. I've not looked back since. spud | spud
02/8/2024 18:33 | ACTION, my friend, this is affecting you badly. Perhaps time to sell out, you can get 4 per cent in a savings account. | rongetsrich
02/8/2024 18:32 | Indeed Spud, it's buy buy buy from me, not to turn at divi, but go long with. I'm retiring soon, so this is a gift. | rongetsrich
02/8/2024 18:30 | I hope 200p not lost in sell off. Otherwise 195p | action
02/8/2024 18:20 | Isn't another saying along the lines of the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.. summit like that. No need to panic I say :) If the world ended money wouldn't matter anyway. | carpingtris
02/8/2024 18:18 | Buy the dips ;) as they say... | carpingtris
02/8/2024 17:54 | On MNG itself, absolutely nothing has changed. For those that buy more now, we'll essentially you are going to receive a higher yield. For those looking to sell, well it only becomes a loss when the cash hits your account. | rongetsrich
02/8/2024 14:39 | Same here - in for the divi! | strapittoyourankle
02/8/2024 14:38 | Just added more. Another chunk of shares I'll wait on, pick up the lovely dividends until it eventually gets taken over... | igoe104
02/8/2024 11:06 | Top.up.on the dips | willywonka12
02/8/2024 08:09 | Yanks or not that's too steep a drop in 24 hours after an interest rate cut too. They should instigate a meaningful share buyback to remove the weakness and support holders. If they are paying out 10% and rates have just dropped it must make good sense. | lab305
02/8/2024 07:57 | YTD comparison of the ones many of us hold. | skinny
02/8/2024 07:45 | These traders must be constantly checking their pants on every market move. They will be constantly in and out the market everytime Biden breaks wind... | igoe104
02/8/2024 07:41 | What a time, too early for divi season but if you have spare cash this is the time to invest your loose change. It's transitory , in my opinion and not the crash. Will the MNG divi be cut? No chance, so nothing fundamentally has changed, it's just algos and frightened little city mice. | rongetsrich
02/8/2024 07:40 | Unfortunately when the yanks say jump the brits say how high. This is a temporary macro blip, as the yanks will now have to reduce interest rates fairly aggressively, which will cause a positive reaction in the markets. Just waiting for dividends today, and I'll be adding here... | igoe104
02/8/2024 07:36 | £2.15 to £2.04 in one day. WTF is going on??? I thought that a cut in interest rates was supposed to be favourable ! | lab305
02/8/2024 06:55 | Come on Ron looking at o/n action and far east this am think tin hats this morning while we cower in our bunkers Good luck everyone | jubberjim
02/8/2024 05:10 | Why is it a Brolly and not a brolly? | rongetsrich |
