What you mean like 90 percent of companies put in their recent RNSs with 10 percent left to do so? Idiot.

This statement doesn't read goodIt is clear that COVID-19 will continue to have an impact on the business. At this stage, however, it is not possible to accurately predict the scale or duration of the impact. As a result, we are not providing financial guidance for 2020. We will provide an update when appropriate.

Hi Snape, sorry for the delay. Overall it said that the business seemed to have remained profitable in 2008 and then at 31.3p:."My opinion - it's lost over 90% of share price value, yet doesn't appear to be in any imminent danger of going bust, thanks to bank facilities being utilised..For that reason, I would certainly put this on my watch list as something speculative, which could rebound strongly once the economy starts to recover. Potentially interesting at this lowly valuation"..Hope that helps, certainly got some legs this morning! tightfist

Interesting piece on Stockopedia Small Cap review yesterday, built on the company COVID statement, borrowings covenants, etc. Not ever been a SAA holder. At about 93% down from the last highs what other balanced views are there?

Ok, no bid. Closed out. Market tanking again. No need to take unnecessary risks.

Perception of value is interesting. It doesn't matter what I or other market traders think. It is always a case of what is your perception of other people's perception.

Would I have been a buyer of the whole business like this all the way down (including at current levels) with as many as issues personal to this company as well as the well publicised numerous issues out there? No.

Do I think someone else could be a buyer of the business? Yes. It doesn't matter if this was mostly fraudulent (extreme example!), there could still be a buyer...because there is always daft money out there:

--> Hello Quindell
--> Hello Autonomy
--> Hello InternetQ
--> Or something more topical like Occidental buying Andarko

And thus I took a long when it farting about around 70p yesterday and dumped the bulk at just over 80p.

As an equity holder here you rank behind the directors who own the lease to the head office for 15 years, the subsidiaries with contingent liabilities, the banks who own the debt and the subsidiaries who own all the reported group cash. This corporate structure is financial engineering that should have died in 2008. The fact the london office cant sell the subsidiaries due to dilution is the final nail. No one with any eye for a balance sheet will buy this. Directors been asleep at the wheel.

Come on then, is there a bid or not...answer by the close please :-D

Clearly there are large buyers in the background buying here with the stock up over nearly 15% since early yesterday. Whether that is a precursor to something or not really is up in the air.

I rarely catch a bid. If anything it will happen when I've sold so I booked half, you know...just to give it a chance ha

Lob the rest if nothing transpires.

Nibbled a few here as a speculative short term play. Pretty much everything is short term atm, sometimes even minutes. It's abit bonkers out there, but the trading opportunities are immense.

As for this one, bid play as per weekend news:

"Hedge funds and private equity firms are said to be lining up bids for M&C Saatchi as the City prepares to pounce on the embattled advertising agency.

Asset management firm Dbay Advisors, which took a controlling stake in Eddie Stobart in December, and Exponent, which owns publishing firm Dennis, are among the suitors circling the agency"

There is a piece in the times and here:

The FCA were also (may still be) a client, possibly the most successful ad in the FCA's history - the Arnie PPI claims ad!

No offense intended, but what kind/level of assets would you expect to see?

Im sure their bankers understand balance sheets and are currently asking where is our cash? Some guys get an office, lease it for 15 years to the company they are directors of and invest the company debt in minority interests. Its not a typical media biz balance sheet by any stretch.

Has been a good day today, 12% up here. 30% up on DTMR and did alright on CGNR, they jumped up 15% too. One to watch tomorrow is INSP, they’re converting notes at 15% higher than the share price so can expect an instant tick up in the morning. Think this is going to be a good week!

No essentially the third. Directors bought £1,000,000 yesterday and huge volume today. Think that tells you what you need to know IMO.

Directors buying failed in August at about 270p share price. After earlier warning and disaster RNS. Will not work now either. If you look at accounts, company has major liabilities which need to be deferred or will bust company. I was a buyer originally but now anticipate more downside here.

OK, so sack that off, after taking further advice from more experienced guys than me, it's not worth the risk (unless you're shorting, which I'm not comfortable with yet). Cheers
