04/12/2019 21:18 | "M&C Saatchi plc was notified on 4 December 2019 that Jeremy Sinclair, David Kershaw and Bill Muirhead (executive directors of the Company) each purchased 415,323 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company at a price of 79.7 pence per share." I think this could kick back tomorrow(trade 982). | phillkay
04/12/2019 17:05 | Could this fall to 20p in the next year. | blueball
04/12/2019 15:29 | With 130 subsidiaries and associates (Thanks for info investors champion) and as allonblack suggests buyouts linked to progress/profits the urge for creative accounting must be difficult to resist in certain areas - Not saying this is the case but a point to be considered (imo) | pugugly
04/12/2019 12:34 | I wonder if Mr Saatchi is asking for the coke from Nigella. | this_time_its_different
04/12/2019 12:30 | GET OUT NOW, this is likely to go under at this rate. | this_time_its_different
04/12/2019 10:15 | Definitely risks on a number of fronts, but management have reasonable skin in the game. If it was me, i would have taken this opportunity to kitchen sink everything. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. The share price will reveal all IMO. | spooky
04/12/2019 09:44 | spooky - See 118 above - Also remember that the talent walks out the door every night unless a major client panic for next day presentation! Also a possible tar pit might be if the overstatement could be clients negotiating invoices down (not saying that this is the case but I have seen it happen in the old days and agency had to bite the bullet to keep the client BUT account manager/executive did not advise financial department) | pugugly
04/12/2019 09:31 | If its all out and done, which in theory it should be, then they are too cheap. The insiders will definitely know. If its not, then you will see in the share price. The longer they stay at this price or lower, the greater the chance that there are still some issues IMO. I have picked up a small number but will not be giving them the benefit of the doubt if the price starts to fall apart. | spooky
04/12/2019 09:25 | Yes a horror show but I wonder if the brand, sum of the parts, kinda reasonable balance sheet, price/sales ratio etc make it worth a fair bit more. 250m revenue and market cap c. 80m here. Who knows what else lurks beneath tho?? | eezymunny
04/12/2019 09:09 | Oh dear !!! , this happens to the big boys as well as the tiny AIMs. | escapetohome
04/12/2019 08:26 | Only 5 at bank and working capital inflow bailed them out. Little guidance on cashflow in 2020 and the elephant in the room will the new fd hang around | allonblack
04/12/2019 08:20 | Yet another advertising agency has account problems - Systemic (imo) to the industry and has been for decades - Management in many cases too busy creating advertisments and placing ads and fail to keep a close eye on the bottom line - Above based on very many years in the industry. | pugugly
04/12/2019 07:47 | Shocking RNS today | albert zog
04/12/2019 07:39 | Excellent sense of smell you have there... | kevph
26/11/2019 13:05 | I'm out. Smell a rat | riviera1069
30/9/2019 13:03 | Nice tick up to 172 on the ask. Think this is going to settle 190 - 200 ish until further news | riviera1069
25/9/2019 09:26 | I have been through the numbers and have several questions. 1. Why when things are so bad did they spend 1.5m on an office refurb? 2. Who owns that office? 3. Why is rent on that office so high? 4. Who brought in the auditors ie whats the relationship. 5. Most importantly of all how on earth are they going to make anywhere near street expectations in h2. Im amazed the fd is hanging around. | allonblack
25/9/2019 08:30 | Don't look cheap to me, I would let the shares settle down after the news, before jumping in. | montyhedge |
