30/5/2011 15:22 | Re-iteration ... Not quite a beauty but very nice nonetheless. 43m shares for a $166m market cap. | mattybuoy
30/5/2011 15:16 | Added 49 North and Pretium to header. Can't get a logo for Royal Gold. | mattybuoy
28/5/2011 21:47 | Re-iteration. Argosy Energy (T.GSY) I have now DMOR and what an absolute beauty. If I could get hold of a colour logo it would be going in the header. Very very safe, it's still partly priced like a "losing" NG stock but in fact is about to become an oil super-star over the next couple of years. Read Stockhouse ... | mattybuoy
28/5/2011 11:07 | MOA starts drilling on its antimony project. | langland
28/5/2011 10:35 | Interesting interview here from Siddharth Rajeev,Fundamental research Corp. I already own some CCE.V, but MGS.V sounds good and cheap | jonno1
27/5/2011 23:05 | Note for reference: Rock value of DNI's "resource" as per figures on their website is about $20 per tonne at current metals prices. | mattybuoy
27/5/2011 22:44 | Explanation for DNI's 39% rise today on high volume ... Sadly it was not me mentioning it here, it was of course the ubiquitous letter writers. At least according to SH anyway. "Wealth Trust" - | mattybuoy
27/5/2011 19:02 | FNR demonstrates ability to raise debt finance. Between $2m and $10m of unsecured subordinate convertible debentures with 8% coupon and $4.50 conversion price. | mattybuoy
27/5/2011 14:56 | Is it a TV thing? I don't watch TV. | mattybuoy
27/5/2011 14:54 | I can't help either - sounds like it has fairly low barriers to entry as you can make one yourself! Matty - sorry for polluting your otherwise extremely useful and informative thread - I just thought that Swiss Toni thing was very funny. He normally talks about making love to beautiful women, which is very much like picking a good stock. First you have to......and make sure you've got a nice wet sponge. | redredblack
27/5/2011 14:38 | Not me sorry. What is 3D printing even? | mattybuoy
27/5/2011 14:37 | o/t not Canadian nor Natural Resources but hey you lot are a knowledgeable lot ... looking for plays in the 3d printing arena, any ideas ? | cagey76
27/5/2011 14:34 | Once again you've lost me there ... I wonder if there is a stock with the ticker TODG anywhere? | mattybuoy
27/5/2011 14:23 | Swiss Toni: What is a woman, Paul? Paul: I beg your pardon, Swiss? Swiss Toni: Watch me. Learn from me. I could teach you everything there is to know about this business. These aren't cars we're selling here, they're dreams. And to know about cars, to know about dreams, you have to know about women. Paul: Right, yes, Swiss. Swiss Toni: A woman is not just a creature that likes fine wines, Whitney Houston films, and the manly smell of a pipe. A woman is a mysterious, complex box of tricks. When you're selling a car to woman, you have to imagine you're making love to her. You have to seduce her. And when she buys, that's the Big-O: Orgasm central. Multiple orgasm would be if she bought lots of cars. Paul: Like a fleet? Swiss Toni: Yes, but, that never happens. Paul: What if you're selling a car to a bloke? Swiss Toni: Then it's all about todgers. These aren't cars, they're todgers. Paul: But I thought you said they were dreams? Swiss Toni: You ever dream about todgers, Paul? Paul: No. Swiss Toni: No, no. Neither do I, obviously. When you're selling a car to man, it all comes down to who's got the biggest todger. You have to make him think that his is bigger. But, in order to sell it to him, you have to know that yours is the biggest. You have to keep telling yourself, "I've got the biggest todger in the world". Paul: I've got the biggest todger in the world. Swiss Toni: It's not as big as mine, Paul. It's not as big as mine. | redredblack
27/5/2011 14:14 | Not beautiful enough :-) Beauties have to be perfect ... | mattybuoy
27/5/2011 14:01 | UP 12% on 750k shares, so far. Stockhouse says that the the well is "almost at blow-out pressure". | mattybuoy
27/5/2011 13:47 | Tethys Petroleum, remember them? I haven't been following it, but this was out today. Looks good. It also looks they intend to go into Afghanistan. Eek! 260m shares for $340m market cap. | mattybuoy
27/5/2011 00:06 | Yep Niko really is a beauty :-) On another note I think I am going to have to add FNR to the header. There was a CC today in which it was revealed that a divi is coming in Q3. This is from light oil production which is accelerating rapidly. That's aside from owning most of the un-exploited coal in Saskewatchewan (many billions of tonnes which is very suitable for CTL applications). These are just two irons in the fire, there are many more. It's quite hard to get a handle on the absolutely stupendous value in this company. | mattybuoy
26/5/2011 17:57 | Fantastic news - worth far more than the 6.5% the market has currently given it. After a depressing few weeks it has been a very nice couple of days for VST/NKO. Hopefully we should be back to the pre-D6 drilling uncertainty price soon. | woodenman
26/5/2011 15:58 | Some great news for Niko. | mattybuoy |
