Are there stock brokers for ordinary PI's who let you short a stock? ie do they lend their owned shares to PI's?

That seems the safest way to short (rather than spread betting etc), though if i think a stock might go down, I tend to stay on the side.

Lookers is on the up once again. It could be taking a run ahead of the accounts with investors hoping for the news not be as bad as feared.

Wobbly stated he was short and why ... Helps people make an informed decision about investing/trading here , for me always bought for short in and out long only , no SB for me . As someone that is in profit I am happy to keep the rest and close at sub 10p.

I won;t respond to any further posts from you as I have more important things to do, and consider my time too valuable to waste with someone that isn't able to see beyond their own decision.

One of us will win and one lose, that's trading so you won't see me posting when sub 10p or if insolvency appears.

Yes a profit is only a profit when banked as it was when I closed some of shorts a while ago.

Technically 20p to 22p is heading for 30p, but The Titanic was heading for the USA.

Shorts doing great.

For any of you that have been on here for a while you will known I took some profits a while ago, so remaining shorts have cost me very little.

It's all about opinions.

One thing I have never done is try to convince myself that I haven't made a mistake, if I do I take the loss and move on.

Remember a loss isn't only a loss if you sell, holding onto a loser is still a loss.

I would just top up if it ever hit 11p again, but i seriously doubt that will ever happen. 30p next then 60p by 2021...

Get down to your local dealer on Monday and order that new BMW! Stocks are Low so expect to pay full retail mind you.

They only partially opened ones which could do repairs etc as in RNS.. The Gov. announced couple of days ago that June 1st is the day!
