Yes, either they are using LDG as a wallet when they need it or, are allowing LDG to get in on their sweet deals. Hard to say which. The FIF and APH deals look ok so far.

Holding here for the next buy back narrows the gap to cash. If not then, I agree, a wind up would be the most oppotune

what's the deal with this SQLI stuff ? anyone got any ideas. It looks to me like DBAY just borrowed 18m from LDG to help fund the tender offer they made for SQLI. We effectively got our money back via some kind of make whole agreement and some shares.

Does anyone think they are planing to reverse SQLI into LDG ?

Still not a fan of what's happening here. Seems like DBAY are using LDG as a bank account to play games with.

At some point they need to give a clear plan for what's happening or just wind the company up and return the cash to shareholders.

a bit too enthousiastic Galles, LDG owns 8,79% of Fif and 3,34% of APH. The rest is in the hands of DouglasBay Capital 4 fund.

Absolutely!

8% of APH is valued at £27.28m, and 13% of FIF is valued at £16.94m. Totalling £44.2m.

LDG’s market cap is £78.9m. So APH and FIF alone equates to 56% of the market cap. Not even including the cash LDG still have. And not even including the successful record of their investments

EDITED: That's not all LDG's but also others. RNS gives the breakdown

Someone has got their calculator out and realised we are significantly in the money on our FIF and APH investments with a share buyback programme still to come. I think FIF has broken out today.

Spread is getting ridiculous now

If the spread was narrower, there would be more trading here.

Esken must be offloading slowly into the market

Dbay only acquired 4m out of the 12m traded yesterday. I wonder who took the rest. I expect them to bid for FF now, with a an offer at 100p

A few investors bailing out at 13.75p today. You would have thought they might have waited until the new buyback starts, but then again they may have a better opportunity to invest elsewhere. 12m shares traded today in FF. assume Dbay have picked these up, rather than selling out. If they have bought them, I expect a bid is on the horizon.

15m pounds divided by 112m shares equally 13.4p. They won't therefore buy back the 20percent as I expect them to have to go up to 16p again. Don't expect anything this year and assume when they get the go ahead to start next year. Should mean the share price slowly drifts upwards

Planning to buy back 20%, gives an opportunity to get out. All good news

A few large sales going through. I wonder if Esken have started to offload and whether RG is snapping them up

Would be good to know what other investments they are holding. They only disclose positions when they go above 3 percent.

Excellent update from FIF this morning. The expected consumer pivot into cheaper own brand foods will really help offset the continued price inflation challenges. Very pleased with our investment over there which we are comfortably in the money on.

Stobart changed their name to Esken. Spread has widened again, which deters trading.

Are your talking about the shareholding listed as Stobart on LDG's register?

See below. They have just refinanced at 12percent interest rate. They can only access the 30m uncommitted facility if they use funds form disposal and the value of their LDF shares to repay the bond holders. GBP30m of the uncommitted element of the new funding could be used, if accessed, alongside the disposal of GBP36m of non-core assets and the value of its LDG shares, to refinance Esken's exchangeable bond, which matures in May 2024To me that reads as thought they will need to sell their shares to raise funds round the bond repayment as the airport is still going to suffer losses for the foreseeable future.
