You miss the point. Nobody should be attacked for their political views. I'm highlighting that the media seem to only want to highlight one side of the attacks.

Anyone who feels it right to attack someone because they don't share the same views should be locked up for a long time.

Minerve, you are always fishing for a response. Is this because you are an out of work fisherman since the eu closed down our fishing industry?

Take your point, Freddie. Crazy Soubry got accosted by a group of nutters outside Parliament, and achieved the headline on BBC Online News; NfD MP beaten half to death by nutters and gets a mention on World news.

Both bad news, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the beeb will milk the Soubry story for all its worth.

Chairman of Germany's anti-migrant AfD party is 'beaten nearly to death' after he is attacked in 'politically motivated' 'assassination attempt'

WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGE

Far-right German politician Frank Magnitz attacked in the street

Magnitz is MP and chairman for anti-immigrant Alternative for Germany (AfD)
The party claims the assault on Magnitz was an assassination attempt

It seems that only the Mail are reporting this. Works both ways.

It wasn't just Scotland was it. The closure of the coal fields had a devastating effect right across the industrial heartlands. However, it had to be done. Would anyone advocate still mining deep coal?

Post of the day.....

Tygarreg

Minerve asking anyone to prove anything in the future is impossible. You for example cannot prove that staying in the EU will improve our economic future. It's certainly doing nothing for Greece, Italy, Spain or even France judging by their GDP growth figures. So far after 40 years in the EU we are still borrowing more money, 1.8 trillion in debt, all crown jewels sold off and nothing left to sell. No gold, no council houses, no nationalised industry, most of our manufacturing relocated to eastern Europe, no self governance, no

influence, having to suffer austerity so we can send ever increasing wads of money to Brussels

If you can`t see the STUPIDITY of this answer of the day!!!

You must be a remainer . . . . . .

From minerve to

Tygarreg

The hypocrisy of you Leavers is unbelievable. Why should you care about EU unemployment when your actions will most likely make it worse?

"lanarkshire and ayrshire are in scotland I recall so not really of any interest to normal people"

The English often ask the question of the Scots "why do you not like us ?"

I'd say the quote above taken from "financeguru" (ironic or what), perfectly answers that question.........
