Thanks bountyhunter.

The idea of "making" leaders participate in a TV debate is pretty ridiculous.

why would sky want a leaders debate.
we seem to see it every day in parliament.
they are on the tv every day and we know every answer they give to every question.

Graham, that one was for a televised leaders debate ahead of the next election. Sky plugged it after every news broadcast...

soon to be overtaken by this one

"Parliament will consider this for a debate
Parliament considers all petitions that get more than 100,000 signatures for a debate

Waiting for less than a day for a debate date"

...from the link above.

Careful is a person who loves to be controlled by others. He feels secure under the Brussels umbrella. I don't blame him for being weak.

Must be all remoaners signing it by mistake as surely they would be the only ones clever enough to work through the complexities of signing it?

Really racking up.

But of course careful's right - it's all pointless in a sense, given that 17.4m have already voted for it formally and officially.

Yes, the clock keeps running after it gets to 100,000. Just short of 99,000 now.

"Never mind that a no-deal scenario would damage all 28 states – perhaps especially Ireland. As the story of the euro shows, Eurocrats are prepared to accept a great deal of pain in order to advance the goal of political union. Actually, “accept” is the wrong word since, being exempt from national taxes, they are spared the consequences of their own policies. “Inflict”; would be more accurate."

Daniel Hannan..

that is what the EU are planning..so could we have some comment on this from the alleged democratic posters and the meeja? no chance..just blind stupidity again.

I wouldn't be quite so smug careful, and you assume what you want. Clearly not all of the leavers are old, senile and stupid though given the number sufficiently IT savvy to sign the online petition.
P.S. now over 98,000.
