WOW just wow.

I invested in Neil Woodford's fund three years ago and since then I've lost money: Should I hold tight or bail out?

After reading a glowing report about the Woodford Equity Income fund I decided to open a stocks and shares Isa with Hargreaves Lansdown and invest in the fund in March 2016.

I initially put in a lump sum of £5,100 and set up a £200 standing order.

I checked on the investment in September this year and found that I have paid in £11,100 so far, but the value of my investment has reduced to just £10,600.

After a nasty and decisive leadership contest, who would unite the party?
A contest at this stage would be suicidal for the Tories.

Even with 48 signatures there's no guarantee that May will be ousted.

If we don't get those 48 signatures any day now we'll have to conclude that the Conservative Party is utterly corrupt and beyond redemption.

Four or five years under the soviets is a frightful prospect but there might be absolutely no alternative.

Interesting post Patient Capital but actually people have been saying that for years! The way to make a success of the EU, they said, was just to ignore the rules we didn't like - like the French!

Unfortunately our officials not only lurve enforcing EU rules, they add bits themselves to make those rules even more oppressive than they need be.

Date of delayed Brexit vote revealed by Theresa May

Theresa May will bring her Brexit deal back to the House of Commons "before January 21", the Prime Minister's official spokesman has said.

Theresa May is heading to Europe with a mindset that will "guarantee she comes back with nothing which is going to alleviate the fears" of the DUP, its Brexit spokesman Sammy Wilson has warned.

The unionist MP hit out at the Prime Minister for continuing to support her deal despite widespread opposition to it in Parliament.

He warned on BBC Radio 4's Today she could only come back from talks with reassurances over the Irish border backstop which "don't mean anything when they are put against a legally-binding international agreement".

Corbyn is a right Numpty isn’t he? Who in their right mind would vote for him. I couldn’t think of a worse PM would be a disaster for this country.

May needs to resign Boris to become PM and call for hard brexit.

Perhaps we might revoke A.50, stay in, break any rules to suit (immigration, CAP & Fisheries, ignore ECJ) and wait for the project to fall apart which, as it is seemingly heading, slowly but surely it might well do. What can they do, in practice, if we don't tow the line? They can't lock us up. They can fine us but can't force payment. The worst they could do is expel us. Job done :)

Listening to a Belgium MP on Radio Scotland this morning . The guy seemed to know more about the deal than the average Tory MP .
He said there is a way to remove the back stop and that is to break the “Good Friday Agreement” .
An internationally agreed peace treaty that has achieved a measure of peace in Northern Ireland .
In other words keeping peace in the United Kingdom .
There are a couple of groups who are willing to sacrifice peace , tories and DUP .
DUP were not a party to it , did not agree with it , don’t like it , don’t want it and care not about it .
The tories especially the ERG are just being tories and as with Scotland don’t give a damn about Northern Ireland . Peace or not is quite irrelevant and most still don’t accept Ireland is a sovereign country and should do as their masters and betters tell them .
Having watched this evil nasty narrow minded woman hanging on to what she perceives as power by her expensively manicured fingernails I would not be surprised by anything and I do mean anything she does to maintain her position .
